[Resolved]  Barclay Bank Credit Card — Extremely Pathetic Customer Service

Hi,
This complaint is for very poor service of barclay bank. I applied for barclay bank credit card last year in 2007 however I have not received the card till now. and I complaint for the same many times on their customer service number and also I wrote many mails to them however I got only electronic reply in which written "Thanku for writing to barclay we take this request seriously" however nothing has been done so far. I also received call from their mumbai head office and they knew about that issue however they said it's not there job whether u receive the card or not they have forward the complaint to Backend department. Same reply I got when I call on customer service number. These guys are sucks can not provide good customer service. receive so many messages from barclay bank and get so many pamphlets at my residence address. This is completely . Barclay customer service is really poor.

I have a barclay credit card [protected] . I am facing a terrible problem from Barclays credit card. I have paid all the dues account clear and paid 23000.00( Twenty three thousand only). But they sent a statment in which they deposited 13000.00 and shows 10, 000.00 balance and other charges but There is no outstanding that date.but call several times but their caller are not intersted in solving the problem just ask to clear the due, on their request I again deposited 1680/- to solve the problem but till date no one is intersted in soloving the problems and ask to deposieted the amount are it is bank or dacoit we can not under stand.
I have used the Barklays card for the first time and promise never to use again. I recommend you can use any credit cards available in India but never use barklays card...

Barclay Bank Credit Card — Barklays prioroty sales-fraud

No need to any thing about barklays prayority circle

I am the one who got cheated by the barkalays prioroty circle

I had file a complaint but received a reply which everybody has received

Therefore time had come to be united and file a complaint to RBI to cancle the liscen of Braklays priority circle because i think its apredetermind plan

sir. i was using barclay card very sucsesfully bu afte some time o[censored]se i srarted getting call frm the bank about veriouse of schemis and i use to denai all the times one day again i gottha call frm bank in regard of protity cyrcle scheme i agree to the scheme but after knowing frm my frndes i found it is not werth so i did not eccpect the vocher send by tge bank n also the gift they have sent i have asked so many times to rverce the prority cyrcle chargis to me same is not been done till today and i am getting bil fr payment which ia not understood eccepet this prority cyrcle payment i have nothing to give to ur bank so kindlly do the need full n obliged me.my card no is .[protected].i have spoken to cutomer care on6/12/08to mis rajeshari at 4/325pm iwas assured by her fr reversal the amount n cenclled the prority cyrcle of my credit cared kindlly dothe need full otherwise i was cumpale to go to consumer sell fr mentally harasment.

They recently cut my credit limit by 25%
I have never been late, always paid over the amount, and never went over my limit.
They tell me it was based on a Trans Union credit report they looked at.
I looked at my transunion report also, always pays on time, never late.

Calls to "customer service" were a waste of time
I HAVE NEVER EVER RECEIVE ANY STATEMENT OF MY CREDIT CARD AND UR RECOVERYING GUY ALWAYS COME FOR PAYMENT WITH LATE FEES.
WHAT IS THIS WHY SHOULD I PAY?TELL ME?

Barclay Credit Card — regarding payment issue

For your kind information i alredy send my outstanding total amount 9296.68 Rs dated 03/09/08 to barcleay before due date 08/09/08. By ICICI Cheque No 110296

if the barcley recive the total amount so why i am recives some SMS regarding payment.

I am totally disapointed with the service I received from the Customer service department for Barclay credit card, On phoning on a number of occasions and trying to make a payment to my credit card from my debit card I was passed to over 6 different people not to mention being transferred to the automated service and then transferred back to someone because it had failed. I have the same problem every single month. I think this is a discrcase and would urge anyone thinking of opening a Barclay credit card to think twice as its more hastl than its worth.

With due respect i bring to your kind information that i am a Gold Barclaycard holder with card No.-[protected] and my name is Mohd samsad.

After doing all complains more than 100 times with your useless customer care executives regarding the updation of my new address, i did not receive any positive response for the updation of my address and so i am not receiving my monthly statement from last 5 months.

Second thing regarding payment pick up from your executive, i received calls not less than 100 times from your customer care for the due payment and everyday 10 different persons are calling me daily and they are sending their executive to my given address with time ( 12 noon to 2 pm) for the payment pick up but nobody has come to my given address for the payment and not even single calls from the payment pick up executives.

So what i mean to say either you people are trained to harras your customers or nobody wants to join your calls centre executive with such a useless person bank. or your executive dont bother to work with barclays bank.

Third thing after long waiting for your executives, when nobodies bother to come then ultimately i droped the cheque of Rs 2660 from icici bank ( chque No. 327183, dated 20 jan.2009 ) in Hamilton Complex skypak box, mangalore on 19th jan.2009.

But till now today is 1st feb.2009, i dont know whether anybody picked up the cheque or not from the skypak box. because still your person are calling me again and again for the payment. though i given the full details of cheque. so either you people are not updating the details given by your customers in your system or dont have enough system with such a London based Barclays bank for any customer queries updations.

So now finally i decided to put complain and FIR regarding the treaments done by Barclays bank and their customer care executives.

Barclay Bank Credit Card — Fraud calls

Hello Respected sir,

Somebody has called me today 26/02/09 and ask me that you have confirmed ICICI lombard insurance policy and I am verifying you that I can debit amount in your card or not? I told him few time that I did not receive any call from ICICI lombard insurance company and I did not apply however he told me that you have applied that's why I receive information from Delhi.

But I know somebody received my contact information and making call me again and again his Phone # is: [protected].

Can you please resolve this issue?

Definitely Barclay credit card is the worst one
I completely agree with people who had a bad experience with barclays. I was using barclays credit card and inspite of me paying the bills on time they added interest of Rs 1200 on my bill passing a comment late payment. Sometime back I had to cancel barclays credit card as one of my friends missused my card. I called the customer service requesting them to send me a new card. The representatives of barclays keeps lying with pathetic english that they will send a new card but it has been more than 8 months that I havenot got the card and finally before I could cancel my card I paid an extra bill of Rs 50 and I never got that back. Can any bank beat that experience. Stay away from Barclays !!!
Cheating and Fraud by Barclays Bank.

This is to inform you that I am the Credit Card Holder of Barclay Bank, they have not sent the statement for last 01 year inspite of several request only because of raise the late payment fees, service charges etc. Thats why the amount will be high . But suddenly they have hired a Goonda named as Mr. Walia from Delhi and asking for full amount immediately . How can I make the payment immediately? and threatening and torturing me over mobile Phone and land line phone. Not only that He has told me that I will kill your family. What is this ??? My purchase amount most probably for Rs.8000/- to 9000/- approximately. He is disturbing my Employer also., that wil effect in my service. I am a very middleclass family. I am agree to pay the minimum amount due in monthly basis.I am asking for statement But he is denied to give me the satement.Continiously he is telling me to make the payment otherwise they will attack me with our team. Please help me from Goonda of barclay bank. Only because of raising late payment fees and service charges and to raise the higher bill, the they have made this type of incident.

I have a similar case where they claim that my cheque is bounced due to out of date. I am not sure how it had happened as I am making my crdeit card payments for other cards in similar fashion.
They are seriously looting the customers and making calls and sms each day to make the life miserable.

I do not think they will be able to make a business in this fashion.
