[Resolved]  Barclays Bank / Barclays Credit Card — Application status not known

Hello, I am G S S S P Sarma from Chennai.

I had applied for Credit card befor one and half months
When i call the telecaller the were telling that my card was sent for processing. Till now I havent got any confirmation message to my mobile nor any call.

I RECIEVED barclay credit card STATEMENT PERIOD APRIL12 TO MAY 12, 2008, IN THAT STATEMENT MY ACTUAL AMOUNT I USED Rs.3465/-ONLY BUT THEY INCLUDE THAT LATE FEES, INTEREST & SERVICE TAX FOR Rs.1331.66.

BUT I PAID CHEQUE AMOUNT FOR THE STATEMENT PERIOD MARCH 12 TO APRIL 12 2008 IN APRIL 27, 2008 IT SELF TO BARCLAY DROP BOX IN TIMEBEFORE DUE DATE 03 MAY 2008.BUT WHEN YOUR COLLECTION PEOPLE HAS COLLECTED THAT CHEQUE I DONT KNOW & IT WAS CREDITED IN MY STATEMENT 07 MAY 2008.

THATS NOT MY MISTAKE WHY SHOULD I PAY FOR THAT ADDITIONAL THIS CHARGES.I SEND BARCLAYS MANY MAILS REGARDING THAT BUT I HAVE NOT RECIEVED ANY REVERSAL FOR THAT.AND BARCLAY TOLL FREE NUMBER IS ALSO NOT WORKING IN CHENNAI PAST 3 MONTH.AND THEY DONT HAVE ANY BARCLAY BANK IN CHENNAI WHERE I CAN GO & DEPOSIT THE CASH ALSO.

AS PER I JUST SPOKE TO CUSTOMER CARE PAYMENT DEPARTMENT MR VIVEK REGARDING THIS ISSUE & HE SAID ME TO PAY THE MINIMUM AMOUNT FOR MY LAST STATEMENT PERIOD MAY 12 TO JUNE 12 2008, & HE WILL TAKE CARE TO SOLVE MY ISSUE FOR REVERSE MY EXCESS CHARGES BUT HE ALSO NOT TURN UP TO ME.DATED ON 4th JUNE 2008.

FOR HE ACCEPT THAT PROBLEM SO I PAID THAT MONTH MINIMUM AMOUNT OF Rs. 240/-SUREING THAT HE WILL REVERSE THE EXCESS AMOUNT.HE SAID HE WILL SEND THE EXECUTIVE TO MY PLACE TO COLLECT THAT CASH MINIMUM AMOUNT BUT HE IS NOT COME FOR THAT, THAT EXECUTIVE WAS NOT COME FOR THAT DAY HE SAID TO DROP THAE CHEQUE TO DROP BOX FOR MINIMUM AMOUNT, FOR THAT ALSO HE ACCEPTED THAT BARCLAY WILL NOT CHARGE FOR THAT ANY LATE FES & INTEREST.BUT AGAIN I RECIEVED THE SAME WITHOUT ANY SOLVING MY PROBLEMS IN MY NEXT STATEMENTFOR BOTH THE MONTH & STILL KEEP ON I AM RECIEVING THE SAME .

SO PLEASE HELP ME REGARDING THAT SO I CAN PAY MY ACTUAL AMOUNT.

ITS REALLY A BAD SERVICES TO THE BARCLAYS CREDIT CARD CUSTOMERS

THE TOLL FREE NUMBER IS NOT WORKING.

NO BARCLAY BANKS ARE HERE IN CHENNAI (INDIA) WHERE I CAN GO & PAY THE STATEMENT AMOUNT.

VERY BAD SERVICES FROM PAYMENT DEPARTMENT & COLLECTION EXECUTIVES ARE REALLY MAKING FOOLS TO HIS CUSTOMERS.

NO ONLINE FACILITY TO MY BANK ACCOUNT.

ONLY DROOPBOX FACILITY IS THERE IN MY CITY BUT WHEN THIS COLLECTION PEOPLE S ARE COLLECTING THAT CHEQUES DONT NOW.DUE TO THAT I AM RECIEVING THE LATE FEES CHARGES & INTEREST TO MY PAID AMOUNT IN RIGHT TIME.

PLEASE HELP ME OUT TO PAY MY ACTUAL AMOUNT AFTER GETTING MY ALL REVERSALS LATE FEES CHARGES & INTEREST FOR MY AMOUNT

Barclays Times Credit Card — Taken money from my card a/c

Sir / Madam, I am Mu.Thenappan holder of barclays card for the past 4 months, upto date i am receiving the statements correctly and i am a regular payer also. Recently, last month one of a customer care office from priority circle which runned by barclays bank has offered me 30% off for all purchases made in chennai, so for i purchased lot things...but, when i saw my bill its really shocked me there is no discount and when i approach them, they are behaving like rudly and force me to pay the membership fee of Rs.5000 /- with useless offer ! In mean time i contact the banker as well as the priority circle office to waive the amout. But, refused to repay and they told me that they are sending me a trolly bag...its cost of Rs.2000 /- (lying) orginal cost at Saravana store at T.nagar, Chennai aprox Rs.1000 /- only if it was American Tourister or Samsonite...they wont give like that type of travel acces... Now, i dont know what to do ? Kindly send me a solution for this and i also told them i wont pay the amount.
What to do ? Service is good. But, Please help me !

Barclays bank Credit card — Status of Application

I had applied for a Barclays bank cedit card, & all the formalities was completed successfully i.e. verification etc. more than a month ago. And I was told that card will be received by me within a fornight. But till date I am waiting for the card. Can you tell me the exact staus of my application?

I have applied for the Barclays Credit Card on 11 July with my Documents attached for application as per Barclay Call, (MY ICICI CORPORATE CREDIT CARD COPY with PENCIL MARK & My Original Statement Copy) and since then i have not recieved any communication regarding the status of the same as whether card application is approved or rejected, because if that would have gone in wrong hands anyone can miss use it. I tried hard to get in touch with them however unable to. I believe Bank should take these issue in consideration and take the neccessary steps to avoid such activities.

I have applied for the barclay credit card a month bank. I have already got a call for verification. I have n't recevied my credit card though the executive told me that it will take max 3 week to get your credit card.

Barclay Bank — Regarding my credit card application

i had applied for barclay bank credit card 2 months back.
i had recieved an SMS stating that they will issue my credit card in 21 days, 1 month passed no update to me from the bank.
