[Resolved]  Barclays Credit Card — trap in form of priority circle membership fees

each concern,
i am a barclays gold credit card holder no 433*****9113.i have trapped for priority circle fees. actually on 26/02/2008 between 4 to 5 pm i have receieved many calls from barclays priority circle about taking membership for Rs 5000 lifetime fees
i had told them to give me some times for think but they told that it was the last day, between the calls due to network problem the communiction was disconnected many times.
and finally calls were disconnected prior of finallisation. after that i call to customer care no [protected] and gave them details about calls at 5.30 pm on 26/02/2008 and told them strictly that i am not interested in membership and not to give me membership they assure me that no fees was deducted and they had taken my complaint and assure me that no fees would be deducted for that.
after some days when i called to know my total outstanding it was showing that the membership fees Rs 5000 and service charges were deducted on 03/03/2008.since then i had made many complaints even before preparation of march satement but only assurance were given but no action was taken .now i am feeling like in a trap.

I was the victim of same fraud..
Just register the online complain on Consumer forum site and RBI site.
I did the same and they have reversed all BPC charges along with late fee within 15 days.
This is the only legal way to fight with these .calling to them and mailing to them is useless ..

Barclays — Showing false bill of 6000 rs for priority circle membership which has not been taken

I hold a Barclay's credit card.I have been using the card for some time and making all the payments before the due date.Around 3 months back I got a bill of around 6000 rs for being a member of PRIORITYCIRCLE.
I have never asked for any such membership but still this is being forced on me and I am regularly being harassed by the Barclay people for making the payment, though I have repeatedly told them that I have not asked for any such membership but still they are not ready to listen.
They say that they have got some voice recording as proof that I have asked for such membership on the basis of which they are making such call.While I have not asked for any such membership.

It would be really kind if you can help me resolve this problem because every day they are unnecessarily calling and troubling me.

Kindly Block the Card as lost if your cheated . File FIR for loss of credit card in local police station. Register the online complain on Consumer forum site and RBI site if above 1 month old.
Alos file another FIR as Misuse of CREDIT CART BY the bank in the police station.
hi, I am also having a false commitment from barclay prority circle...what they say and what they have provided is completely different. their commitments are wrong. I am not going to provide the remaining due until they cancil the fees of prority circle.

I fully agree. My experience is exactly the same. The circumstances were also similar. I strongly feel after reading this that Barclays Cards is running a racket for extorting money in this manner.

Sometime back I got a Barclay card. In the month of July-August, i got some calls from Barclay Bank regarding the "Priority Circle Offer". I never accepted that offer. But in the account statement generated on August 2008 they charged Rs.[protected] + 619 for tax) in the statement for Barclay Priority Membership charge. Since then i am continuously calling the customer care and telling them the issue. Initial level of escillation they never responded to me properly. Then I started complaint to the higher officials. They say that they can't take that offer back because they have sent some offers to me. But all their said are fraud, they haven't delivered anything to me. Now they are calling me daily, asking for the payment and telling the whole story to them daily. How can they impose those charges in such a way ? I am really frustrated with these guys. If these people don't take that amount back, I will be forced to go to the consumer forum. I came to know that there is a URL in RBI website to complaint about this issue, I don't the URL. If anybody knows please let me know about this.

In the same forum, I found several complaints for the same issue. If anybody have got solved this problem please lemme know the way.

barclaycard gold credit card — non issue of holiday vouchers

sir i am holder ofBARCLAYCARD GOLD CREDIT CARD NO[protected] wef02/08.
Companys promotion dept had spoken to me during the month of apr 08 regarding a holiday package scheme for the card holders.
I had accepted the offer and an amout of Rs5000/- was charged to me as one time joining fees.
I WAS PROMISED THAT THE HOLIDAY VOUCHERS WOULD REACH ME WITHIN 2-3 WEEKS.
Since then it is almost an year and i still havenot received the holiday vouchers, although the money has already been deducted from my acct in june 2008.
I later spoke to the customer care centre a no of times and each time the reply was that'sir you eill get the vouchers in next 2-3 weeks or within seven working days.But to no fffect.
You are requested to kindly look in the matter and resolve the issue at the earliest i.e. either forward me the hoilday vouchers at the earliest OR refund the amount of Rs 5000/-(with interest at the earliest
I Read about below comments about Privelege fees. Most of them are about the charge. I would like to know about the usage of the offers made by them. Because I am also into this trap..

I am also a vitims of barlcay priority circle membership, they charged me and told all the offers and gift will be given to me with in 21 days but they have not given me aor called me at any time from the, and i SUGGEST EVRY ONE NOT TO BE A PART OF BARLCAY PRIORITY CIRCLE you will not get any response i am suffering from this and i dont want any one to be more.

Barclaycard — Non provision of services

I have barclays card with number [protected]. I had taken a premium membership with this bank. However, no services have been provided by the bank promised at the time of taking this membership. Even, the promotional offer which included a holiday package has not been provide.. Irrespective of sending several mail, no feedback was received.

Despite above, even if I try to valide my card details on the IVR of the bank, the IVR does not accept the same. Hence, I want the following:
1) Refund of my membership fees as no service is provided till date.
2) Cancellation of this card as I do not know whether card details are authorsied.

Barclay Credit Card — CHARGEBACK OF LATE FEES

I have holding a credit card of barclay bank. there was some disputed transaction on it. the transaction has come to in my favour but still late fees charges was not removed in my statment. I want to pay the due amount but I dont know what exact amount I have to pay. I am giving details of my card below
