[Resolved]  Barclays Personal Loan — Not taken loan and bank send ecs to my bank for 1st emi

Dear Sir/ Madam

Im surprise with reputed bank like Barclays

I applied for personal loan through dsa, because of wrong commitment of dsa i applied for cancellation of request and return the cheques which was send by barclay but im surprise after proper communication through email and with telephonic discussion with officer of barclay cheques is present in my bank for clearance.

Help me what can i do for this

Barclay personal loan — not taken loan and emi come for clearance in my bank

Im fade up Barclay bank after somany communication to the bank they are not concontrate in my issue

bank sanction the loan but due to dsa miss commitment i cancelled the loan and return the cheque to dsa behalf of bank he collect the cheque. company person also speak with me about this issue and told me he will send my security cheques return but i found on 5th march they ecs this account for clearance.

Not taken loan and bank present ecs for clearance

pl suggest what i can do?? Serious matter

in april also they are suppose to send same way???

its been going from last three months i am very fed up of the promotional calls..as i am already registered for not receving any promotinal calls.still i am getting 3 to 4 calls evry day..Kindly take care of the issue...

I have been contacted over phone for Personal loan from Barclays Bank. They told me the Rate of interest will be 15% dimensing. But when i gone for the Personal Discussion they told me it is 14.65% Flat and 26% IRR. I asked about IRR they told it is internal interest Rate. Then they told me the Monthly EMI which is nearly coming to 26%. I made many commitments on this loan and cant able to refuse it. then they finally reduced it to 24%. So it is the cheating made by Barclays Bank. so people please be aware of Barclays Personal Loan from Barclays bank or from Barclays finanace.

Barclays is one of the worst bank for personal loan. Public please be aware dont apply personal loan with barclays bank
I applied for personal loan with barclays at the time when the application form was filled, They told me the Rate of interest will be 15% dimensing. With the utter regret I am drafting this letter to you. I understand that your bank is one of the reputed banks in the world, but for Indians like me, it is a very pathetic bank with poor services. I applied for the loan on 04th September 2007 from your Malad West branch. Within five days I was informed that my personal loan of Rs.50, 000/- has been sanctioned and one Mrs.Khusbhoo, an executive called me for briefing. There I was informed that this loan is covered with insurance and the premium will be deducted directly from the loan amount. Since, that time I was in the utter need of money I decided to go with it. While calculating the interest rate the executive made a lot of mistake and told me that it will be less, and since our system is in up gradation so we will let you know the interest rate. However, I questioned what will be the EMI, she told me that it will be between 22%. The executive also told me that you need not to worry the EMI will be less. For the next three months I was not in the city, but I kept a regular contact with the bank. However to my shock within some period I realized that the EMI is much higher than what was committed. I felt that it may be some technical error so I contacted the malad branch again and I was informed that from the next month the EMI will be less and you need not to worry. I regularly contacted with the Malad branch for the same but it was useless.

My plea for the same was not at all entertained from your side. At last, I called your executive and demanded for an outstanding balance document and I verified it with my Charted Accountant and he also told me that the EMI is much higher. I informed you bank that I don’t have any other option than to stop the EMI unless my query is solved. But to my distress, within a day I received at least 35 to 40 calls on my landline as well as on my cell phone from different collection agencies and when I told this situation to them they but these agents only believe in threaten and use massive power. I contacted your helpline but it was also useless.

After some days I was informed that the executive named Mrs.Khusbhoo has left the job. I stopped the EMI for the reason of the interest rate and not for any other purpose. Your collection agents knocked any time without following the rules and regulations. I was first approached by one of the agency from Lower Parel this guy assured me that he will rebook the loan without giving any details. He started constantly calling me from this number [protected] and if I failed to receive it he was using a lot of harsh language. He cheated me and took six cheques from me which still has not returned. I also had a recorded conversation of the same person. I warned this guy that if he call me again than I will launch an police complaint, but he said that he doesn’t bother about any police or anyone.





This was not enough that I was approached by another agent Mr.Sachin, he also approached me with a lot of harsh language without listening to my query. He was calling at least 50 to 60 calls per day which was not only a mental harassment but his person was sending his collection people in night at 9.30 to 10.00 clock. It was a height when I received an SMS from him on 24th February 2009 at 01:15:27 pm that he will come in the night for collecting the dues. I understand that this is there duty but the bank must employ people who must know the proper way of dealing with the customers. Now I have been approached by one collection agency from borivli and the person name is Mr.Rane, this guy is also has adopted the same technique of sending any one at any time. Now its my kind request is there that I am fed up with your services and I want to settle this loan.

It’s a very worst experience from your side. I approached a lot of time but it was vein.

Barclays banks is a cheat.They have fooled me with the personal loan interest rates and make unlimited harassment calls.ps help and suggest in what way can i make them pay for this?
my emi date is 3rd of every month and i pay Rs.2170/- as emi towards a loan of 50000/- for 48 months.
i had took loan from sakinaka branch mumbai.
my e mies are regular but this month barclays had deducted 2 e mies of Rs.2170 from my bank ie :- STATE BANK OF INDIA . I.I.T POWAI A/C NO:-[protected] ON 4TH MAY AND ON 6TH MAY, I HAD visited the sakinaka branch . there the executive had mailed my complaint and had also marked me but no such mail had been received on my id. CITIFINANCIAL SERVICES — Abusive & Harrassment by the Collection exectuive

Dear Sir/Madam, myself Mr. Shiva Prakash am an resident of Bangalore. I am writing this complaint of abusing & harrassment over the phone by Ms. Shivalika from Delhi branch for collection of payment. My wife Mrs. N.J. Lakshmi had taken a personal loan ref nbr:[protected] before her marriage to me during 2007. She was having salary account in HDFC until she got married to me in the year 2009. After marriage every month her father used to pay the EMI by cash to the collection executive who would go to their house in Vaishali sector. Later from 2011 my wife clearly told the customer care or collection person that we will be making the payment in Bangalore, as nobody else is there in Delhi. Once I personally went to Citifinancial office in Bangalore and paid the payment of my wife's loan emi. Later I asked them to send the collection executive to come and collect the emi everymonth from me at my office. And they did it for next two months. But afterwards from march inspite of me requesting them and guiding them the location they never came to collect the payment from us. During May 2011, I was waiting with the emi amount for the executive who had taken the land mark from me , but he too never turned up. Now who is at fault???

from past last month a female named Ms. Shivalika from Delhi branch is calling my family members, that is my father-in-law, my wife and she is abusing them un-necessarily and threatening them.She is questioning my wife "who asked you to go to Bangalore after marriage"??why did you take loan?? she is saying that we have run from Delhi after taking loan...She making false allegations against my family members with such words... she is talking in high-raise volume and to the peak of her voice..Today I called her and spoke very softly mentioning her that the way she is talking to myfamily members is not correct and that I have already informed the Bangalore branch to collect the emi every month on 10th..For this Ms.Shivalika is shouting at me again saying who asked me to go to Bangalore??She started to threaten that she will inform bangalore branch not to collect the emi and she will make me to go to delhi to pay the emi..She then started abuse me with filthy language and kept on shouting, so I just hanged the phone..........Now as a tax paying citizen of India wish to know from the government and public, is it the way a customer will be treated if he/she misses to pay the emi one or two months due to circumstances and by intentional motive??.....who has given this bloody ruthless, characterless brainless female, arrogant Ms.Shivalika to traumatize us jst for the fault of their bank staffs not collecting the payment from our door step??If we default we are blacklisted for whole life to take any other loan from any other banks....but what is the punishment for such females who behave worst than mad animals with the customers...she doesnt even know how to talk to the client...why is bank recruting such people and spoiling their reputation?? Now me and my entire family are so much traumitized with mental harrassment, dont know how to over come this..if something happens to us the entire responsibility will be this female Ms. Shivalika from citifinancial - delhi branch.
