I am a regular reader of Times of India Newspaper. I had paid my cheque towards Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd for subscription of 1 year. I was receiving the newspaper regularly at my doorstep. But for the past 1 week, I am not getting newspaper. I do not have the contact details for the vendor or the delivery boy. Please help. BENNETT COLEMAN CO LTD — No news paper from Feb'11
I had given a request for transfer of news paper from mira rd address to ghatkopar -w address on 4th april'11.i had contacted on 66354021 for the same. i have always got false commitment from executives available on above mentioned number.Always got different dates.Details of payment given to BENNETT COLEMAN CO LTD : chq no-161245, amt-998/-
This is to also inform you i am not receiving news paper from feb'11 as the mira rd vender has left from mira rd.
Not Receiving News paper
I place an order for subscription of Times of India for a period one year.For which i made cheque payment in favour of "Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd." dated on 29th Jan. 2011 Cheque no. 642490 of ICICI Bank under the order cum receipt no 2592. I received times news paper upto 30th june 2011 and suddenly the suplly to was stopped tp me from 1st july 2011.
I contacted the delivery vender coming to my street who informed me that he had not been given my name for supply and advised me to contact the helpline mentioned on the rear of the receipt.I informed helpline on 2nd july 2011 who assured me that she will take a necessary action on this issue. Since then daily I am calling the helpline on daily basis but of no use. I have uploaded my complaine through e-mail also twice. This is a matter great distrust for me that neither Times helpline nor [protected]@timesgroup.com is responding to my calls.Will Timesgroup management look into the matter in order to restore the newspaper supply to me at w-550 B, street -6, Anna Nagar West Extension, Chennai-6001011. I have been a regular customer for Times of India, in the month of January I had paid a cheque towards Bennett, Coleman & Co for Economic Times subscription of Rs.399/- the same has been debited from my account on 28th Jan 2016. I haven't got the news paper delivered at my home. They didn't give me a receipt when i checked with the guy who delivers the paper, he is asking for the receipt. I don't have the contact number of the person who came. Need your help in getting this delivered without further delay.

I am a subscriber of Times of India and the paper is being regularly supplied by your agent, but today he did not deliver the paper and I tried to contact him, but to of no avail. Anytime I try to contact the agent he never responds and the same had been complained to your representative in Head Office. I would like to make a complaint about the very bad service of your company which I have never seen. I cannot believe an old reputed organisation like yours could become so inefficient.
On 9th Feb 2017, I gave a cheque by hand to your representative for renewal of my subscription well before time (14/2/17 expiry). When I didn’t get the paper after expiry of my subscription on 15th, I called your representative and he told me that there was an overwriting on my cheque. This was informed to me after one week of receiving the cheque and on my calling him. I told him to bring the cheque and found that someone from your office had overwritten with a different pen changing O to A and not me. Anyway I issued another cheque on 15/2/17 and your representative told me that I cannot get the paper till 1st March 2017.
I waited till 1st March with no paper and then when I called him on 1st March asking why I had still not received the paper the paper was delivered.
On 2nd March, I didn’t get paper again and called him and he says that because I wanted to change my contact mobile number, the application was not processed. I was changing my contact number from out of state to chennai number only and both numbers are working but I do not always carry the out of state phone with me when in chennai and both numbers are working. He said that someone from the office had tried to contact me but could not contact me as I changed my number and to send an email requesting change in mobile number. (The change in mobile number was requested along with the renewal application form). The fact is, someone did call me on 26th Feb from the TOI office on my new mobile number and took and verified my contact details and so I don’t understand what is going on in your company and why my subscription is still on hold amd being delayed unnecessarily for no fault of mine.
Your urgent attention on this matter is requested.

On contracting on phone, there is no proper response. Today I am contracting since morning but no body is lifting telephone nos. 67427124/25/26.I am surprised to see company has provided 3 phone but no body is there to lift the phone in the whole day? When should I expect the news papers?

Bennett,Coleman & Co. Ltd. — Not Receiving News paper
I place an order for subscription of Times of India and Maharashtra times for a period of six months.For which i made cheque payment in favour of "Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd." dated on 06th Nov. 2010 Cheque no. 939702 of ICICI Bank under the order cum receipt no 2527139 & 2541139. The date of issue start from 1st Dec 2010 to 31st May 2010.But till 7th Dec 2010 i had not received Maharashtra Times news paper. I contacted the delivery vender Manoj Yadav who inform me that he had not received the supply of Maharashtra Times and advise me to contact the helpline mentioned on the rear of the receipt.The same incidence i inform to their helpline staff "SEEMA" who received my call on 6th Dec 2010 and she assured me that she will take a necessary action on this issue. after that few days i received Maharashtra Times and again on 16th Dec 2010 i did not receive Maharashtra Times.So again i complained to helpline staff "SEEMA"
But this is very irritating to inform every time to helpline for not receiving News Paper and at same time i feel help less that i had prepaid the subscription amount and i cannot do anything. They should compensate me for not issuing me News Paper for the above given dates.
