[Resolved]  B. E. S. T. Undertaking — best bus complaint

From kandivali to bangurnagar there are only 3 buses running 210, 707, 205. i want to suggest them that there is no proper frequancy is maintaining by them. every 3 out of 5 occations this buses comes same time then there will be a half hour break.also their drivers & conductors are very careless specially 707 long route buses, they always skip to stop some of the small stop. I faced lots of trouble with best buses. some time i also argued with conductors regarding this, plz take some serious actions immediately on best buses we public have to face lots of trouble because their drivers & conductors are becoming very careless. plz do feedback to my email id [protected]@yahoo.co.in & on weekends also frequancy is very less, some this buslike 205, 210 whos last stop dahisar bridge some time they runs till chincholi bundur or orlem church (210) why they are wasting petrol to run for such short distances. i observe this buses for short distance they never had passangers, plz do take immediate actions on best buses

27 C Bus Service — Delaying to start up the buses in terminus

Dear Sir,

I travel in 27C bus service daily from Maduravoyal to reach Bharathi Nagar, it is T Nagar bus service as you know in these area basically it has heavy traffic commonly at the evening time after 6 ' o clock near Vadapalani. Between 6 pm to 7pm there are only one or two buses coming, also with full rush in T Nagar itself. In my bus stop, its heavy rush and no one can catch the bus. Morning also, between 8 to 9 there one or two buses available with sequence manner (one by one) buses are coming at the same time with full rush. My office time is 9 am to 6 pm but i got bus after 7.30pm in the evening and reaching home at 9 only. Everyday the buses are delaying like this. Careless in their timings even lot of buses available for us if it not coming on time its useless.

We cannot do anything for the traffic, but if the driver will take up the buses on correct time we will have frequent buses. For the past week, some issues with driver and conductor it seems, so they are not taking any buses and we really really struggled to reach our destination at that day.

So, I am requesting the concerned department to take care of the bus timings and please please think about from our side.I am expecting you to take immediate action to recover from this.
I WOULD LIKE TO REALLY THANK THE BEST FOR INCLUDING BUS NO 453 ON LOKMANYA THANE ROUTE WHICH COVERS A LONG DISTANCE BRINGING A BIG RELIEF TO THE COMMUTERS ON THIS ROUTE. IT IS ALSO OBSERVED THAT BUS NO. 453 WADALA DEPOT HAS MINIMISED ITS FREQUENCY FROM 1 HOUR TO HALF AN HOUR BUT THE PROBLEM IS AT PEAK HOURS THE COMMUTERS HAS TO WAIT FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR AS THE BUS IS ALWAYS DELAYED BY ALMOST 1 HOUR i.e. FROM 5.20 PM TO 6.10 PM THERE IS NO BUS FOR WHATEVER REASON AND AT THE SAME TIME IT IS ALSO OBSERVED THAT AFTER THERE IS NO BUS FOR SO LONG 2-3 BUSES ARRIVES ONE AFTER ANOTHER WHICH DONT SERVE THE PURPOSE AS THE COMMUTERS AT PEAK HOURS ARE FORCED TO TAKE ANOTHER MEANS FOR REACHING HOME. I REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE LOOK INTO THE MATTER AS ITS BECOMING AN EVERYDAY PROBLEM. WE WOULD REALLY APPECIATE IF MORE BUSES ARE MADE AVAILABLE AT PEAK HOURS AND FREQUENCY IS MINIMISED TO 15 MINUTES AS IN THIS ROUTE THERE IS ONLY ONE BUS WHICH IS COVERING SUCH A LONG DISTANCE.
AS 1 Buses were the first A/C buses started from 3rd Jan 2008. From 7.15 am to 8.15 am the frequency of these buses from Cadbury Junction, Thane is very very poor. There are long serpentine ques and every bus from starting point itself has about 20 standees. The bus gets fully packed with standees and waits to leave at scheduled time but the ques of waiting people has anytime about 30 people waiting to board the next bus, which comes after 15/20 or 25 mins depending on traffic conditions on any particular day. I am a regular patron of AS 1 FROM DAY ONE AND MY ID CARD NUMBER IS 703171.

I have following suggestions for improvement of services. :
1. Pls increase frequency between 7.15 am and 8.00 am. You have already improved frequency of AS 3. Please likewise improve frequency of AS1 in mornings. You may reduce frequency in the afternoons, but when in mornings there are 45/50 people waiting for more than 40 minutes for their turn to board a bus the frequency is abasymally poor to accomodate our needs.
2. Please remove the advertisements from bus windows. In the rains we cannot see outside, and consequently we cannot know how far we are from our destinations, or where we have reached. Also it is claustrophobic to sit in a dark bus without ability to view outside. Also in case of accidents / emmergency we will not be able to make a quick exit as the advertisements cause obstruction for us to view outside. Also the TV'S inside must be stopped or volume lowered as no one is interested to see four /five ads being repeated continuously for 145 times in one visit from Thane to Cuff Parade. This is nothing but mental torture.
3. Please repair A/C ducts. Most of them are broken.

If above complaints are not addressed at the earliest we will take up the matter at alternate /appropriate levels .

Rubish management of BEST, Khobraged is haramai chor..of GM..Not suitable as GM.
i am travling Maharastra Nagar to Ghatkoper since 06 months .Today just i ask the conductor what is the right departure time of route no 507 (Nerul to Santacruz) politely.
he was speak loudly & arrogantly with me ur staff also present in same bus.The behaviour of conductor is realy insulting. Why a asked him bcoz i dont know exact timing of same bus & bus came up to 10-15 min since 4-5 days late rather than his daily time. Do the needfull.
This is to highlight the rude behaviour displayed by conductor (ID no. coulid not ascertained) on 15th Sept. 2008 at 05.46 hrs in bus no MH 8464 while speeding from nerul to santacruz Depot.

From the last 2 or 3 Months From Andheri to Shar Road via Kurla Route No. 365 & Powai Route No. 409 All buses cancelled and start from Cargo. Now only one bus from that route that Bus no. is 308. # 308 buses are not stopping at Main stop Chakala, P & T . As this area is residential area, many people will get down there. So please to request to you allow more buses to this route thease buses timing are also so faluating that we are facing a lot of problem coz of this.kindly organise some more buses so that this problem get solve.

i take the bus from L & T bus stop at evening but on this a particular bus is not stop there which was empty and bus no. 382 (MH04 LA6594) round 6.00 pm.
i know your service is best but because of some employees, BEST is in black listed of passengers

Bus no 243 from malad station to janakalyan nagar.

Kindly increase the frequency waiting for 45 min in line also we won;t get the bus. increase the bus fare o.k. same time increase the frequency of the bus. it is really pathetic

i am working in mulund reaching malad in in one hr, but malad station to reach home takes one hour kindly rectify this

Dear Sir,

We are obliged that Bus No. 453 is been introduced in lLokmanya Nagar Route ie starting from Wadala to Lokmanya Nagar. But the problem is that at peak hours the buses are very less or maybe it is not less but delays are there at peak hours as most of the time it is observed the bus which has a frequency of half an hour always comes after one hour when it is most required and that to two buses arrives one after the another causing problem to the commuters. After waiting for so long when there is no bus the commuters are forced to take other means of transport and when the bus comes one after the other it is empty. So we request you to please look into the matter and introduce more buses at peak hours or have a check on the bus drivers as to why delays are taking place and also reduce the frequency to 10 minutes. In addition to the above one more request as digital boards are provided for all buses introduce time also within it so that the drivers will be more alert and flawlessly perform their duty.

Today (16 September 2010) I had similar experience. I took bus (do not remember the exact no. if 523 or 525) from Dindoshi Depot around 10 AM. There was no much traffic on the roads. The bus was empty, many seats were vacant. However the driver took Aarey checknaka flyover and skipped the Goregaon stop. He was driving rash. I had to get down at Nirlon but the bus did not stop there as well. When I asked driver why he was doing so he started arguing – He made a statement that “no one can do anything to him he will do what he wants”.

I noted his badge no.: 17931.

Can BEST management take some steps? Can something be done about such incidents?

I want to complaint about bus number 489 which leaves from dahisar bridge to shivaji nagar depot. The first bus is supposed to be at 6:45 but never the 1st bus is on time. The government should understand that they just increase the fair as and when they please they should make sure that they provide us with the service which we are paying for. Due to the bus not being on time I am always late at work. Cant the government understand that early in the morning the frequency should be maximum as there are people travelling to work children going to school and colleges why is it that inspite of increasing the fare we, the common people are the ones who always suffer????? I am the only person who works and takes care of my family. If I losse my job due to coming late everyday will the government take care of my family expenses????I want a answer for this...The government is being unfair coz they dodnot give any job security and when we after struggling a lot get a job they dodnot have the transport on time due to which our existing job goes for a toss...what should we do...does the government has a answer...If i loose my job the govt will be responsible for the same.
Bus Route Nos. 226 / 340 Not Halting at Tilak Nagar (Sakinaka) Bus Stop coming from Ghatkopar

In the mornings the bus route nos. 226 and 340 coming from Ghatkopar are not halting at Tilak Nagar (Sakinaka) Bus Stops betweem 7.00 - 7.15 am. The children studying in Schools at Marol and Chakala are getting late every day. Also the buses come one after the another after 7.30 am. It would be better if the frequency is increased between 7.00 am - 7.15 am taking into consideration the school and college going children. Hope that some action is taken at the earliest

This is reference to bus no. MH-01 L8549 traveling on date 19.10.2010 for SIEPZ bus station. I aboarded bus at 10.40 at Sion Station for alighting at Kala Nagar in Bandra. The driver who was driving the said bus was driving bus so roughly that some paasengers in bus fell down. When he was asked to drive slowly, he replied very arrogantly. He was unnecesaraly playing HORN all the way. When I asked for his Batch No., He arrogantly replied that note down bus no and do whatever you want to do. He refused to tell his name also. I have taken his photo on my mobile also. You are requested to look into the matter and take necessary action in the subject matter.

I Viral.K.Gala of 13 years of age studying in std IX in shri shakuntala high school with my heavy luggage of my school normally travelled by the bus at the morning and afternoon respectively. On 28th october, 2010 when i got in 134 bus no.at metro i asked the conductor to give me a ticket of bhuleshwar. hen i gave him a ten rupees note he told to me to give the change of it.I said that i did not have the change. so, he furiously shouted at me that at the next stop u have to get down.l said but i have the money so he took my said get out of the bus.The time was 11:10am at that stage.I noted the bus no. MH 01 LA 5092.

l therefore requst you to take strict actions against conductor

I strongly agree &would like to point out that major BEST (Mumbai) conductors as well drivers take passengers for granted, harasses passenger for change even though they have sufficient change in their hand bag, Conductor as well driver don't care for passengers while starting the bus, It is also observed that even though their fault they are stopping the bus in Midway & thus causing utmost trouble to passengers & other traffic, Best drivers are notarious for their rough & harsh driving.

It is time Mumbai people shall demand for ending Monopoly of BEST buses in Mumbai & protest very strongly for their rights.
Can some one tell me a website which would show the details of the mumbai b.e.s.t. bus routes with timings i.e.1st and last bus, frequency route details etc.apart from bestundertaking.com.this website is not working properly.
