[Resolved]  BigFlix — WRONG AMOUNT CHARGED

I had registered my self on Big Flix online where there was an offer that if you pay through ICICI BANK Credit card you will get a discount of 40% but when i had registered there with my ICICI BANK Credit Card they had charged me 3000/= instead of 1800/=. i had made 6 complains with them but they have done nothing till date they said me that they have reversed the amount and have send me a confirmation mail on my mail id but nothing has been done till date. Hence i request you to kindly help me in this regard.

Greed got the better of you and you fell for Reliance trap therefore you will have to live with Reliance Crap
Any Ambani venture is a sham when it comes to money. I renewed for one month on 23rd Oct with my ICICI Credit card for a 50% discount but havent yet got it. On complaining, get stupid reasons saying you didnt click on the ICICI Bank offer label on the website(This is actually a JPEG image, fool doesnt even know you can't click on it). Another says you were supposed to renew it two days before expiry, still another says its not for online payments. Have shouted at the customer care(??) executives umpteen times now. But will not give up on them. I am a member of the Consumer Guidance Society Of India and will make sure they give me back my money.
I have got same experience - and exactly same responses from customer care yesterday.
I got a call from the Customer care dept saying that the 50% discount is only for new customers and is not applicable on renewals. Seems noone at the store or the customer care executives are aware of this.

BigFlix — No Delivery ... Very Poor Service

I recently subscribed to BigFlix and paid for 2 months membership via BigBazar offer (which is non refundable).

It all went fine until 10th Jan 2009 when I sent a pickup request for the movie I had with me. On 11th Jan as usual I got a sms confirming that the next movie in the queue was checked out and will be delivered to me. But it didn't happen although I was there at home the whole day.

The next day I lodged a complaint stating the same and I was assured that the movie would be delivered to me soon. However, that 'soon' moment has never come till date. Every time I call the customer care, I get the response that my complaint has been escalated and it is being worked out. I really don't understand how much time it takes to work out a complaint as simple as this.

I will still wait for a couple of days more. If they still do not resume delivery and do nothing about my complaint, I will have no option but to approach the Consumer Court for a redressal.

I do hope that my issue gets resolved without having to approach the consumer court.

But if the company does not pay heed to our complaints, we should all file cases in the Consumer Court. This is the only way we can make companies like these realize that they just can't keep harassing customers like this.

BigFlix — Never deliver DVDs

I joined Bigflix - membership number[protected] in Dec as a 3 month membership.
However, their home delivery service is a joke !

repeated complaints raised by me give me the standard response of they are doing the best they can.
but they are unable to send me movies from the top of my queue. worse - and I have raised atleast 5 complaints in the last 15 days with them - they never deliver DVDs. they keep delivering only VCDs and they won't reimburse me the prorated amount that I have already paid as membership even though they are not delivering what I am requesting.

here is the latest complaint that I have sent them:

This has become a routine.
Can someone escalate this to supervisors of supervisors cause I am tired of hearing the same BS about lack of availability of DVDs - I sincerely do not believe that the folks running BigFlix would believe your own statements that you cannot stock any of the 25 DVDs in my queue in your warehouse - as this would put the name of BigFlix to shame.

Please consider this complaint as an official request for the contact person for registering this complaint with customer complaints dept and/or ombudsmen.

This apathy with your line of supervisors is deplorable to say the least.
It is so ridiculous that my delivery boy is embarrassed to deliver me VCDs and on his own accord (I repeat - on his own accord) decided to deliver me Dostana in DVD format.
for the first time - the movie delivered was in my top 5 and it was in a correct - DVD - format as I had requested.

That a delivery boy can be embarrased about the service provided by BigFlix but you customer service folks and their managers and supervisors whom I have spoken to in the last 15 days are incapable o[censored]nderstanding speaks volumes of the capability and
customer friendliness (or lack there of ) of your entire delivery department.

I sincerely hope that this complaint is raised to the higher ups to rectify the errors and improves your service.

I am very very happy with bigflix vashi service the boy over there is very friendly and helpfull, i get my dvd all the time exactly at 2 30 pm or 2 35 pm, i think people livin close to the stores get confirmed delivery of movies. Now i have upgraded to one disk annual pack because of amasing service.
my membership number is 41131177, i am badly fed up with the worst services provided by Big Flix, it was never expected from such a big company tag ie Reliance...
its just bull on the name of BIG

BigFlix — Cheat customers

Hi

My membership id is 41122756 . There have been issues in the past with no pickups etc but the customer care has delivered / compensated .
But now am seriuosly doubting their credibility over assuring that they compensate the days they assure on the phone.
Last few instances , in one whole month , in all I was supposed to get an extension of almost 8 days while the expiry date in my account doesnt change . On calling them up they reply that it has been extended .
In one case , the female Jayanti even coonfessed that they didnt extend 2 days while they declared verbally that 4 days have been extended.
This is just leading to mental stress since most of my time is spent following up with these people.
Calling the customer care is a waste because they just take the complaints and there is no way you can follow up with the actual person who had confirmed on call .
Its simply pathetic and now i want to withdraw their services after being a customer for 3 years .

What i noticed in the last 3 years with respect to the customer service is :
1) Earlier telephonic response used be come in a day and now it takes 3 to 4 working days .
2) Customer care email id is a good way to track issues but its very slow.
3) the contact us option on their website is of no use since you wont get a reply if you complain on it .

Overall , the service has become pathetic and I dont think i will ever subscribe to Bigflix ever again .
Am from Bangalore.I am a BigFlix subscriber since 2 years.I almost rent 10 to 12 DVD, s from them every month.Except for 2 or 3 DVD, s the quality was perfect, service totally satisfactory.

I completely agree, the company sucks ... Vashi branch must be the worst of all . Cant deliver a disc to me in 7 days after receiving mail confirmation . Expected standard considering this is an anil Ambani venture . He only knows how to mislead public

BigFlix — Worst service

There is no tab for no delivery,The service s***s I had spoken to the advisor who assured me that the disc would be sent to me I never received the disc There is no option to cancel the services on line. The advisor lied to me saying it can be done online.I would like to cancel the services and get the refund . But the are not answering me or telling me how to do it

Bigflix has got a very poor customer service.They charged me 250 Rs without any reason & when i made a complaint about that then they told me that my money will be refunded back to my a/c with in 7 days but now it's been more than 40 days i still waiting for that money.Now when i am trying to contact customer service back than they are not even replying on my mails.

Is it really a way to handle customer ??

Is it really a kind of impression that you left on customers ??
