BookMyShow.com — Cancellation of Ticket

I had booked tickets from BookMyShow.com for a movie at PVR- Vikaspuri. But due to certain reasons, I wanted to cancel my ticket. I called BookmyShow helpline number to cancel the tickets, 9 hrs before the show. But they refused my request. Even when I requested them to keep the service charges, and may be more but refund the rest of the amount, the customer acre executive completely refused.

I don't see a point of No Cancellation.
Sure you can put certain time boundation on to that but saying a NO is NOT the WAY it should be.

i dont want to give any rating to book my show...as they have a poor customer service and do not have any option to cancel tickets after booking... bad experience...

Bookmyshow is a bad application which no body should use. They say they do not have the right to cancel or modify the tickets but they can book the tickets and they show their best side on the TV commercials. Waste and disgusting application and shouldn't be used by anyone. The worst experience ever.

I booked 4 tickets, but due to our circumstances i wanted to cancel the tickets, but they told it can't be cancelled. Really I got pissed off. If there is a Booking then there MUST HAVE CANCELL OPTION, If there is no cancel option why they are hosting this site better discontinue. Its an unethical to run a business like this. I feel like money is plucked from my hand by cheating trick. here after i never book my tickets here. i advice all to not to use this site for booking.

I wanted to cancelled my 4 ticket movie yesterday evening show but u seems to rob us by not giving us an option to cancelled the ticket when you are happily giving an option to book a ticket and not pick up my call.. if your good refund my money if not God knows oneday you will pay a price for cheating the customer care..

I will give book my show 0 rating for today. I want to cancel my tickets & called customer care they directly refuse my request to cancel tickets it's not good. There should be option for cancellation & they can deduce some amount as service charge. As it's 1 of the top website for booking tickets there should be cancel option provided. I will never book again from bookmyshow. if my money is not refunded. They are cheaters my money got wasted. i have given them mail regarding. Let's see what happened next.

If bookmyshow cant cancel the ticket why not sell those ticket, just change the color of the seat as cancelled, allow some other consumer to book that seat, transfer the amount to the users account.

Atleast I think Bookmyshow can do that, put the money as a cashback or credit the user's bank account . It will be just a 2 days work to add the feature from my experience as a software developer

i wanted the to see movie on 6 pm but by mistake i took tickets for 9 pm how to cancel the tickets

i too lost Rs 657/- by mistake i booked next days ticket. I asked for cancellation from BMS as well the movie theatre but both refused to do so.
BMS said that they can not cancel the ticket, Movie theatre said that ticket booked via BMS can not be cancelled. What should i do.. this is my hard earned money..

Seriously Its too bad, there is no option to cancel your ticket.I wrongly book ticket for Monday's show, I tried to changed it to Sunday's show but failed.Will never use this site to book tickets..

I booked a ticket one day before I wanted to. Waste of money. No cancellation is pure cheating.

What i can do i had small mistake that i had booked tichet for one day than i request tham to shift my date they without thinking refused

Horrible experience and customer robbing service from bookmyshow.
I was regular customer and booked 8 tickets. By mistake I booked Friday instead of sat . ( Application confused me as initially I selected sat and when I got error for something, it took back to booking page again where I didn't notice that it was by default selected (today) means Friday )

Now they don't have cancellation option . They give reasons that cinemas wont refund money to them . Pathetic reason to shut down customer.When they do business with Cinemas, it is obvious to have cancellation clause with condition to save customers . Why cant they have cancellation options with conditions like within 1 our or before 5 hrs of shows .

I will never book my ticket with bookmyshow, because I have to be so much so much careful and with fear need book tickets.
Who will take chance ?

Hey... BMS .. pls allow the cancellation option.. Due so many reason we want 2 cancel our ticket..like death of grandfather etc.,

U must allow cancellation option to customer... Its our right
... many websites allow this option..

I am surprise to know that ticket once booked can not be cancelled or rescheduled in Bookmyshow.

Is any other online movie ticket booking offer cancellation?
Can we proceed any legal action against book my show?

Kindly inform since Bookmy show is bullying.
