This is to bring to your kind attention an education fraud that could prove devastating for the future of India’s most valuable assets i.e. India’s youth. The fraud involves a branding and research company with the name of Brands Academy, headed by Mr. Rishu Monga and Mr. Sanjay Kumar. It organizes awards with the name of Education Excellence Awards every year and has many big names from the HRD ministry and media as the participants and sponsors. It supposedly honours the deserving institutions and educationists but in actuality, the awards are given to institutions that are ready to spend big money for the promotion of their educational entities. There is no basis of selection of the winners and to tell you frankly, the awards are sold by Brands Academy and are bought by educational institutions. This is a criminal act that is indirectly influencing the younger generation to choose average or not so good institute and taking away its right to quality education. The results of this fraud can be appalling and unimaginable for the youth as well as country’s progress. The company has been cheating people for the past three to four years.
