[Resolved]  BSNL Broadband — too slow speed

my 750+ plan has started from 1 dec.but instead of getting 256 kbps speed my speed is that od dial up that is 50 kbps and downloading rate id 6.48 kbps.i live in bikaner.while my uncle took same plan in jaipur and geeting speed of 256 kbps.wat should i do.i hv also complaint it from bsnl office but they cant do anything

i'm also getting low speed upto 20-25 kbps. As per my plan, it should be above 70 kbps.

i too hav a bsnl UL750 plan...maximum speed is get is 32kB/s (downloading) and 20kB/s(uploading)...both at same time only...it takes bout 7 to 8 hrs for dwnlding a 700 MB file...so im gonna change my plan to 500C...i previously had tat plan..very gud plan...night unlimited is very gud 2... i used to get a 700 MB file in 1hr...i recommend HOME 500 C plan..it also 175 free calls

I am from haridwar.My modem was installed on 1 september. The network is so bad that my speed doesn't
rises above 60 kbps.but sometimes it may.I usually am using it before 8:00am. there is 1 more malfunction that it suddenly ask for reconnect.Plz send me the answer at the provided email address
it just ask to reconnect the network. and speed is generally between 1.5 - 25 kbps even if i am using it at before 9:00 am

It appears that even after your intervention in all matters the situation did not improve, and thus it indicates that there exist something beyond normal official business dealings / management. However this is a case to be exclusively dealt by you.
TRAI (exclusively Regulatory Authority) are requested to kindly refer to all copies endst. to them by this consumer and find out whether all instructions issued by them are carried out by the lessee concerns.

BSNL Broadband — Slow update Speed

I am using 500C plan. Recently, the speed is too slow. I have to wait for 10 minutes just to open gmail, etc. I am not even able to attach any files... i.e upload rate is about 0. Please help.

past 10 days my internet speed is only 10kb/sec. i have 750 unlimted plan.

dataone - 2 mbps 1111 plan — very poor bandwidth

My tele no : 23892243 and account no :[protected]. I had changed over to plan 1111 (2 Mbps) a month ago due to poor bandwidth. Unfortunately the bandwidth remained same even after upgrading to 2 Mbps connectivity. The speed what I get is just 100Kbps against 2 Mbps except for two days where I got 1.5Mbps speed. I had lodged any number of complaints but nothing has happened. The call center response is pathetic and so as BSNL service.


Are we ever going to improve ?

BSNL — Slow BB Speed in dehradun

Hi i am using 299C plan..My connection is very slow i am getting download speed only 20kb/s to 30kb/s but my friends getting speed in dis plan 300kb/s to 450kb/s please help me. I also register my complain on 1504 or direct in dehradun main exchange to GM at[protected]. Bsnl is not solving my problems..
I am from Nagaon, Assam, I have a BSNL broadband connection of 750 unlimited plan with my phone no.[protected]. The speed is too slow. It does not permit to browse simply a website.

Broadband services — Download speed <256 kbps

It has been observed that many internet service providers are selling internet services under broaband where the download speed is less than 256kbps. Couple of such organisation I have come across are MTNL Mumbai, Reliance etc. Further there are thousands of cable internet service providers mushrooming in Mumbai (Five Network www.fivenetwork.com) who do not abide by any regulation. The are gullying consumers left & right.

It is my humble request to the regulators to pass the mandate to advertise the broadband plans only based on their download speed instead of based on the pipeline (done at present) which leaves huge scope for the service provider to gully the consumer.

Further it has been observed that the connectivity is not constant ie. if you try to download the say 1MB file. First the download speed normally allowed is one tenth of the pipeline ie. 25kbps if you have taken 256kbps plan. Second the connection gets lost several time in the download process.

This happens frequently either due to network being loaded or poor infrastructure provided by the service providers. MTNL does not provide the ground cabling all the telephone lines(through which the internet connection is provided) passes from one building structure to another in a typical residential society.

Hence one has to restart the download and if you have opted for the data plan the bytes gets consumed for re-download for no fault of consumers.

Instad of penalised the service providers for:
a) Gullying consumer by selling normal internet connection(download less than 256kpbs) under the banner of Broadband by advertising the pipeline of 1.2 or upto 3 Mbps etc.
b) Providing poor infrastructure resulting into frequent disconnections.

They are left free to take undue advantage by way o[censored]nsolicited gains by billing the consumers for their own inefficient network by way of consuming the data of the data plan for repeated downloads due to frequent disconnections & for the points a & b above.

WHEN WILL THE REGULATORY BODY OF THE NATION WILL WAKE UP ???
