I recently have purchased a BSNL modem which is of Type - 2.
It has been just 6 months and the modem has been exchanged once and now after 6 months again there is a problem in the modem!
The BSNL company doesn't provide a new modem if there is any problem but it just exchanges with the modem which were earlier kept in the complaint or which were faulty which is a wrong approach.
Also, the modem given by us to the BSNL which is faulty is kept for repair and a modem which is even worse then the first is given to us such that exactly as the warranty period gets over we have to purchase a new modem!
Also, we can't use the modem to any other BSNL number and If we do so then the company doen't exchange the modem if it is in warranty period than too.
We have to use the modem only at the landline number which we purchase in which is really bad! Was this information helpful? |
BSNL — bRAND BAND MODEM FAILURE IN GURANTEE PERIOD
I have brand band connection from 13.03.2009 onwards.The modem also purchased from bsnl type II and has the warranty of 1 year.The modem was failured on 20.10.2009. Till date the modem was not replaced due to stock available in all godowns of bsnl in tamil nadu region.
