[Resolved]  Cafe Coffee Day — Tax Rate charged

I had my coffee at Cafe Coffee Day, Nirmal LifeStyle, Mulund, Mumbai-79. the tax which they charged my is at the rate of 12.5% and they told me that its VAT. but rather it should have been Service Tax @ 10.3%.
Despite of my insistence, they told me that we will charge this tax only.

the details of my bill are:
Bill no-51073, Date-06/03/10. Time:23:59:11, TNO: 1701
1. Irish coffee - Rs 65
2. Cafe Mocha - Rs 59
3. Choco Fappe - Rs 93

Total: Rs 217
Tax Amount: Rs 27.12
Net amount: Rs 244

Please try to resolve the issue with appropriate legal proceedings,
These people are cheating customers and getting higher tax and playing lower tax to government, which should be dealt seriously.
