[Resolved]  Calcutta Telephones BSNL Broadband — Non receiving of required speed of 2 Mbps

In spite of several phone call and written complaints, no action has yet been taken to improve my broadband speed though Calcutta Telephones inform me with a letter claiming for the same.
Hope the defect will be rectified soon.My Telephone no is [protected].

Sir,
Since I am unable to get a helpful response from your siliguri broadband office, I am turning to you as a last resort. I own a broadband connection from your company. My plan detail is Home plan 500. At the time of startup it was working well. But from 2-3 months I am totally disappointed from your service. The thing is that there are rarely chances that I get your connection active otherwise it always remains disconnect. I also complained about this matter many times in broadband section but they rectified it for 2-3 days and again the same problem raised. As I am IT student, for my study purpose I have rented your service thinking that the BSNL is the best service provider but your service has really disappointed me. Even I had submitted an application form for change of plan from Home 500 to Home 750 UL in 28th of September. It is not changed till now. So, are you providing such a worst service? Now a days my problem is when ever I connect to internet it shows either 678 or the modem does not get the link and when it connects is suddenly disconnects within 10 minutes. So why is this happening? I complained about it several times in No.198 the next day phone call came and ask the “is your phone ok?” and cut off. If you are not able to give us nice services then please disconnect my line. Because the thing which I cannot use properly why should I pay for that.

I trust you will look into this matter and see that proper action is taken to solve my problem and provide me the good connection with no disturbance.

we have a brodband connection at dhulaghar, howrah Ph. no.[protected]. the brod band connection is not working for a long time. we have repatedly lodge complain at our local exchange. but o solutiond hasbeen done. i have lodge complained at [protected]. from there i have receive many calls but no solutions. it is a busness connection with static IP . so i thing i will take nesary action and oblize us.

Dear sir,

I am using broadband unlimited line . This gives me a download speed 30 KB/sec max, but my studen gets 170--190 KB/sec in a connection of plan 500 . Have I been made any mistake by taking more costly plan ( 900 plus ) ? If I shall not get sufficient speed I shall have to switchover to plan either 500 or 250 Rs.

I can't get print the barcode in telephone bill which I get from internet.
I am the holder of BSNL EXCEL Prepaid .For the past few days whenever I tried to call from my Contacts ( Saved in my Mobile) is shows wrong connection. Last evening i.e on 26.3.2009 at 10.07 p.m I contacted with the Customer service No [protected] & told them my problem. Suddenly they cut the connection He said his name is Amit. Again I tried & asked the respondant his name. He said his name is Biswajit. Again I told him my problem & asked the complain No. He replied No problem to your mobile & WE CAN NOT GIVE YOU COMPLAIN NO.Then I asked please tell me the designation of Head of the Customer Service Center.. He said it is personal question we do"t know his designation.I said it is not personal question I have the right to know . He cutted the connection. My question is it Customer Service ? Not only that they don't know how to tackle the problems.No minimum knowledge about Service.

I am a bonafied customer of Calcutta Telephones ( BSNL) last more than 10(ten) years, Several time I am getting poor service, and due to some of casual break down service, poor signal gain, cross connection and hacking of my telephone. Very oftens I did not get that performance clearly. Simultaniously your bill providing system is not also smooth. Some time we get it but very often it does reached to me in time or never. If that system is continued more I shall have to think to surrender it.

I am Paresh Ch. Das took a broadband connection (ul750+ unlimited plan) last year. From last 4 month I am not getting any proper connectivity from BSNL broadbrand service, but I am still paying 850/- rupees/month.Though I change my plan into 500 unlimited plan. Regarding of bad connectivity I complain several of times but nobody has responsed me. I'm being stunt to think that, how much irresponsible they are ? I think they are GOVT. employee that's why they are so irresponsible.

So it's my kind request to you that please please look into this matter I am being harassed by this delay.

This is Dipesh Majumdar residing at P-41 A, South Eastern Railway Employee's Housing Co-operative, Kamdohari, Post -Garia, Kolkata - 700 084 lodging this complaint about the non availibility of broad band connection in my land line No.[protected]. Earlier, we used to get broad band connection intermitently and now for the last one month we are absolutely unable to use internet as establishement of broadband connection is not taking place. Moreover, the above land line is though running but there is always to much disturbance in the line and we cannot communicate our message clearly over the phone. Although, complaint has been lodged to restore the land line but no action has so far been taken and we are facing a real trouble for accessing internet as well as to use phone line.

Please look into the matter and restore my broadband connection as well as make our land line perfectly alright to speak.

Sir, please note that my BB No.25463689 is not functioning for last 12-14 days( complain no.E3033 ).
This net service is very essential to me for my research work.Most of the time I am facing this problem.Any way please help me to carry out my research work uninterruptedly.Hope I will get favour from you.

The Problem is that, SIr/Mam- I'm getting the speed of my Broadband connection like 1.5kbps, 2.00kbps, 2.9kbps, 3.5kbps and so on...

They didn't provide me the Special cable of Broadband! then I, tried to connect with the Customer care officer but It's also very-very difficult to connect with the customer care officer of BSNL! Anyhow I, got connected with customer care and told them my problem and they assured me that the problem wil be solved shortly, But nothing happened!

Very poor speed.Last month more than 10days out of service.Now speed is very slow.If this kind of worst BB service will continue have to disconnect the land line as well as the BB connection.This kind of bad service is forcing to think about that.It's become a monthly job to complain about the BB connection.It's going bad to worst.Please take the necessary steps.It's crossing the limit of tolerance.

I am a BroadBand customer having tel no. 24352450 .
My modem link goes frequently. I complained many many times through 1504.
Every time i am getting messages that- my circuit has been restored. But that is not a solution. I talk to them also, but no improve. I think the problem is lying somewhere else.
This type of customer service is very embarrassing and painful.
BSNL should be more professional with there customers. I will not suggest any other people to take BSNL Broadband.
If I wouldn't I bought the Modem from them, I would kick this line, many months ago.
I know nothing will be happened posting here. My problem will remain as is.
