[Resolved]  Calcutta Telephones — Telephone "dead", docket no:"alive"

I like to bring to your kind notice that despite repeated complaints most of the time my telephone[protected] remains out of order.Sometimes it becomes totally dead and other times I can receive only incoming calls and outgoing calls can't be at all made.What's very disturbing is sometimes it goes out of order in couple of ours after repairing.Most probably technicians who attend the fault can't detect the exact cause of malfunctioning and just does the patch work to bring it back to life only for short span of time.I've been really fed up with the instrument and pondering if I should continue as a consumer of Calcutta Telephones any more. For that, i am not able to work with my BSNL Broadband.
Several dockets hve been done by me. but still having problem.

My telephone no is 24494617 & customer ID No. is[protected] is becoming very noisy. It is very much distribing of me. So I am humbly requesting to the high authority of BSNL to look into my matter and solve as early as possible.

My telephone has been lying cross connection since 09 July, '11. The complaint on Telephone No.[protected] &[protected] has been lodged at Computerised Public Grievance Cell, Docket No. J1768 dated
09/ 07/ 2011 & further Docket on 14 July 11 No. D6942 & D6943 at Mondirtala Exchange. Howrah. So I am foroward my complain to take necessary action as soon as possible.

My telephone[protected] not working from 1st of July to till date. First I docket on 4.07.2011 but after few days the docket also dead, then I docket again (T 3810) till date no one taken any action .I request you kindly to do the needful and oblige.

My telephone number 25636758 is completely dead. I had launched a complain dated 21.07.11 and my docket number is J4695 which is still alive. I am putting forward my complain for "early" action.

Less number of adequately trained staff at field level and non-availability of proper tools and materials for replacement of non functional equipments appear to be the two major factors for complaints not being solved early.. My complaint Docket # L 6264 still await replacement of my receiver set.
I am a Data1 customer for quite long. I can not interact even with Data1 Helpline as my handset fails to proceed after dialing 1400, 1405, 1500. Kindly look into the matter.

My telephone no 24943632 is dead since 10 August 2011. Every time I complain, a new docket no is given. I met several officers at Behala Exchange. Though everybody were sympathetic, no fruitful action has taken place. Can anybody suggest me what I should do?

my bsnl land phone number is 25489905, i have paid all the bills till now. In my telephone, ringing tone is coming but no sound from other side is odible, more over, there is no dial tone in my telephone. this problem is lasting for last 10 days. The complain number does not lift there telephone 25482198 to receive the complain, sometime my telephone number is telling different from from of mine. It is very difficult to book the complain. I tried to talk to CSC at bidhan nagar exchange i.e 25514091, no body responds. Pl suggest what to do.

My telephone no.24939744. The telephone almost has been remaining dead since 30.10.11I. Several times I have complained after that they are doing something and asking 'is the line functioning' through telephone. After getting reply their duty is over and are remaining silent. After some hours again it is becoming dead. This things happening since 30.10.11. I have complained in 24932198 several time(docket no.R-8023, R-9903). My broad band connection also being disturbed. They asked me to lodge complain at 2493005. I tried at this number. Nobody responding only the watchman responded when I rang after 8.00pm. From the telephone bill I got a number 22304444 where it is told to complain if the grievance is not solved within 15 days. It means we have to suffer till 15 days then they will take action. I also lodged complai at this number. God knows whether any action is taken or not.
From this it is clear that as they are the govtt. employee nobody can take any action against them. It is their own property. The exchange 2493 has become an old age house.

I have been suffering for Internet problem (broadband) from last 15th Dec 2011. My Telephone number is[protected]. It shows error number 678. I have applied for reconstruction but still is not solved. It was worked properly last one month. From last few days it comes disconnection every week. My telephone set is not worked properly every time the telephone service man comes to my home and they told they will replace it but it is not solved. Please solve this problem seriously I give my telephone bill regularly but why I am suffering this problem every week. Please take an action for permanent solution.

The land-line telephone in my wife's school[protected] has been lying dead for over a month. complains have been filed, but it was of no avail. every time, 198 tells us that work is in progress. Since the West Bengal Secondary Education examination is going to begin on February 23, 2012, which is only 48 hours from now, it is essential that the telephone line is restored, failing which the examinees will be inconvenienced as well the teaching and non-teaching staff, involved in the examination process.
