[Resolved]  Canara Bank — NON-ACCESS TO ATM OF THE BANK

I had purchased Gold jewellery with a reputed jeweller in Chennai and decided to use my Canara Bank ATM cum Debit Card for payment. When the girl at the store swiped the card the transaction was declined saying that "the card was invalid". I rushed to the nearest Karur Vysya Bank ATM to withdraw cash the transaction was declined stating that the transaction could not be processed. I walked another half a kilometre and tried to withdraw cash from a Canara Bank ATM. I could neither withdraw cash nor see my balance. I at once called the toll free number at the back of the card. What the official said was shocking! He said that the Bank had to feed the balances to the ATMs in order for customers to withdraw cash. The bank had failed to do that! Today happens to be May day and therefore I could withdraw cash or use my debit card only tomorrow!!! He confirmed that the fault was with the branch and that he was helpless! I came back home and promptly searched the bank's website. (Can someone tell me an email ID for Canara Bank to whom I can address complaints?) I wasted an entire evening!!

Dear Citizens of India,

I lost my ATM Card 15 days before, i blocked the card througfh the call centre.On the next working day
i went to the branch office and applied for a new one.After 12 days also i didn't received the card.My daughter is in the hospital.
I faced a lot of problems because of this.The officers who are working under the A/C roof will not under stand the feeling of a
person like me.Try to behave samely to all the people inside the bank not thinking of the money what they have deposited.
Each customer is important for a bank.

I have two F.D. in CANARA BANK, (branch-KAIRANA) to renew my fd. sir, when i went to bank Mr.S.K.Bhardwaj & an another bank employer mis guide me, & when i told them about their misguidance they misbehave with me.when i told them to complain against them in head office & in consumer court then they abused me & asked "ABE JA JO BIGAD SAKTA HO BIGAD LE aur YHA FD NA BANVAYA KARO HAMARE PAS FD BANANE KA TIME NAHI HE".
sir, please take action against it immediately sothat they may not misguide any other

I am extremely dissatisfied from the canara bank.firstly they miscommunicate regarding the minimum balance at one day account opening counter in our college campus..and they didn't send the atm to me over a month.and when i went to ask about atm to the branch office (greater Noida) .The concern person didn't respond properly.
Regret to open account in canera bank.
I would like to know how much agri loan will provide by the bank for one acre and what based?.( guide line value or market value of one acre or bith)

I tried to withdrawn 1500 using my Canara Bank ATM cum Debit Card at State Bank of India ATM, Thiruppathur, Sivaganga Dist. When i was trying that i got the slip with the message saying "Declined, transaction could not be processed". And I tried to withdraw the same from a Canara Bank ATM, Madurai. But I could neither withdraw cash nor see my balance. I was unable to retrieve my amount in any way.

Can someone tell me an email ID or Phone Number for Canara Bank to whom I can address complaints?

I am having a Saving account in my native Chickkaballapura. I have not being used for past 11months. Two days before.My brother credited Rs. 9000/- to my account. But i am not able draw from the atm. I have enquired with nearest bank. Their are telling that my account being deactivated. How activate same?? can any body help ME???

next day my friend go to bank with my cheque, that time the cashier told to my friend, no money in the a/c, and the same time my friend call me and informed to me the matter,
I have applied for ATM card on 24.4.2009 in Perambur branch and till date i have not received my card. as sugested by the manager i applied again and again three times but no use. kindly follow it up and reply the status pl.

Can any one tell the E-mail id of Canara bank's Customer Care Service for complaining.I am holding Personal Salary Account in Canara's STES Lonavla Extension Branch.It's Worst Branch with just single person working and doing all roles of bank like Cashier, Manager, In-Charge, Peon, Engineer, Security.
I hold an account with Canara bank since last five years. A/C# 5339-NIOT Branch-Chennai. Few months back i used my ATM debit card for a transaction for an amount of INR 600.00 at a hospital using HDFC terminal. I was told by the hospital person that the transaction did not go through on the first attempt and i was adviced to use the card once again which i did thinking it was not authorised the first time. Later i ended up paying twice. Its been six months now every time i speak to them they do not seem to solve the issue. Rather i was directed to the hospital and the acquirer bank HDFC on whose terminal the card was used. But they directed us back to the account holding branch. When i spoke to them most recently i was told the same procedures to be followed again. And most recently funds have been missing from my account. I was told that an amount of INR 53.00 was withdrawan as cash from the atm at 4.00 pm on a given day this month. On that particular day i was at home and i usual dont use cards very often. I walk into the branch to withdraw cash. More over no Indian banks or ATM's allow cash to be withdrawn in such an odd amount. Even for Swipe Usage no one Accepts Card Card Below INR 100. When i questioned about that to them, they came back with an answer saying its your card and you have used it we only have an information about the time and the amount.
