[Resolved]  Canara Bank Net Banking — Not activated even after 6-8 months

The service at canara bank is terrible, I have an account with Canara bank mahim branch, and i had submitted the net banking request almost 6-8 months back.. but till date there is no rever at their end..

while i was submitting the request form at the branch the manager, was most incorporative. he was not ready to provide proper information and service.. more over he was not even having the form.. ihad downloaded the form from the site and submitted it. He said that it would take 1 month... surprising, while other banks take less than 7 days to process such request, CANARA bank has not yet activated the netbanking request submitted 6-8 months back..

Very miserable, pathetic service... quality is going down cause of the staff.. who are non-coperative and act as if they are doing a big service on us... it is rather better to opt for other banks.

Internet banking is the worst in canara bank among all the banks in India. First, you have to apply for creation o[censored]ser ID and password. It is not automatically created when you open an account. Then, it will take months or years to get your username and password. The activation will take another few months. Then, you cannot access the account directly from your browser. You have to download an application called cansecure - which looks like it is a software made by high-school student for his project. Very stupid software. It will not work if you have not registered your mobile number in the account. Then you will have to register your mobile number. Then you will receive the activation number on your mobile. Now, after activating internet banking on one computer, you can not do online banking from any other computer. You have to again follow the activation procedure all over for new computer. Finally, after doing everything, when you login to your account, you cannot see anything useful there. No funds transfer, no recharge options, no proper account details, non-working links - absolutely useless facility. You have to again run behind the bank manager to activate the other options. It has been more than two years since my ordeal started. And during all these, if you try to contact customer care through toll free numbers - you can never connect till you have re-dialled the number 50 times. It is easier to conect to the President of India. Worst Worst Worst ever service.

Shrude attitude of staff with less information
