[Resolved]  CAR LOAN — COLLECTION AGENTS TORTURING

This is complaint against collection agents working for HDFC Bank, who keep on calling me and my daughter and use abusive language and do lot of illegal harassment, and mental torture. Bank authorities were enable to change my EMI bank from HSBC to CITIBANK after change of my service though I have given ECS change form and security deposit cheques twice to the so called bank people(which might be same agents). There is no control who collects what cheques and where cheques are going since bank people are not able to locate these cheques till date.

Since transfering funds from Citibank to HSBC doesnt happen in time everymonth due to business tours, etc. some EMI's bounce and then follows harrasement of collection agents in most abusive language. Once when I was not in Mumbai (was in Bangalore for office work) these people have entered my home when my daughter was alone at home. And when questioned by me they tortured me too by saying I had complained against you in Police Station for non payment of EMI (when only two EMIs of Rs.5675/- was pending). Also when daughter was alone at home they gave dhamki to my daughter that they are going to take my vehicle with them so that my daughter should fall to their pray and do whatever they say.

As per law, even though there are pending dues, agents should claim them in legal manner and cannot use abusive way currently they are using. Also cannot talk in abusive language with me and my daughter. Cannot enter my home without legal authority.

I request you to take strong action against these criminals and also I want to put a claim against these agencies for Rs.2, 00, 000/- for all kind of torture given to me and my daughter. Also identify these agencies and cancel their licence to act as an collection agents in future to save other mothers and daughters.

Today also I have received call from the following nos around 1.30 to 2.00 where they have used abusive language again. Please investigate these calls and take necessary action against these criminals:

Names told were Sharath and Mahesh (always they tell false names). Please investigate these calls from telephone service providers and take necessary action against these criminals.

Names told were Sharath and his senior mahesh.

When I told them send official mail for whatever issues and I will resolve them immediately, they have refused to send any mail since they were fraud.
