[Resolved]  Carrier AC — Bad Customer Service

Hi

I purchased carrier Durakool AC of 1.5 ton in the month of Feb 2008.I started using it in march 2008 but it was not working.Even after several complains in carrier AC call center no technician had visite my home and rectify my problem.

It seems that i did a mistake by purchasing carrier AC.

yes, we have purchased an 2 ton Duro cool 2 Star from Sion, Mumbai Vijay sales, however we find it that, the after sales service is obsolutely lacking and in future we will not repeat the mistake!
i am an carrier customer from last 7 to 8 years and i have around 8 to 10 carrier acs out which few are not working properly these days but after complaning for so many times there is no response from the company rather they are just ignoring it.
either i discontinue to be a carrier customer in future or i have made a mistake to purchase carrier airconditioners.
please look after my complaint hope to receive a positive feedback

After several complains to the delear appointed by you i.e.TRUPTI AGENCIES, Berhampur, Orissa had sent the technicians & they ask to replace the stabiliser. I did that also but till now it is not working. And very sorry to say you that the delear had taken the manual & the warranty card with him when he visited first time to my office. Whenever I asked for the same he just ignored to give those documents. I doubt that your company has any rights to take action against him or not.I will be happy if somebody will come to my office and see that wheather it is your product or not. Hope you could get it. Very poor customer service. i will not recommend for any one about carrier product

I have seen samsung team visiting their customer in residential apartments for a coutesy too but carrier will be loosing more clients if these carries .
I never expected this type service from Carrier. There should be provision for returning the AC's with full money back if they don;t give service on time...

I purchased carrier a/c 2 years back and this year it is not working properly. I contacted customer care several times, but they are always saying we will send someone with 3 working days. It is already more than 8 days and nobody contacted me and on top of that they have closed my complaint by putting comments " House was locked". This is not true and when I had a word with Sr. Manager he also made false promise.

I'll should say that it is very very bad company. After sales service is very Pathetic. Please avoid buying any product from carrier
I purchased 1.5 ton carrier ac model name DuraKoolWRAC018(R) and
model no:GWRAC018DR002 from Choice Electronics, H-15 Mian Vikas Marg Lakshmi Nagar on 1st APRIL 2010 bill no:-6545which after installation was not cooling properly.After calling customer care the person who came told that a leakage of gas from compressor and told to repair the same by taking at their centre and refused to replace the same.How can i give newly purchased AC for repair with in a day?????

Please look after my complaint or else being a media person i have to highlight in news channel and go for "khabardaar" at awaaz CNBC TV 18 and consumer court.
I will some how relax on the replacement of the AC or else some serious work will be done against you.

I have purchase a dura kool 2 tonne ac before 1 year but now it is not running i have complained a lot to the dealer, tirupati agencies berhampur, ganjam, orissa no service he is giving to me i dont know what to do, but i never going to purchase carrier company ac and also not suggest my frienda to purchase this .

I hve purchased Carrier Split AC 1 Ton, Duracool Model from DMS, Vasai (w), Thane on 18th Apr 10, till the installation is done because o[censored]navailability of service centers people. They have tell shedule are tite. we cant help. This is not the way of service from Carrier like company

Mr. Hassan (Mob No [protected]) incharge giving commitement me last 2 days, but people not coming to installation.

There is a request please contact Mr. Hassan & tell him install the same as on today.

Other-wise I will return the AC to dealer today

Baught 2 ton bluestar ACFrom Global Aircon ,Padmaraonagar Hyderabad in the month of March,2nd day of installation filled with gas,after 30days again poor cooling today 29th April Mr.Thirupathi service person repaired.I requested him to replace with new one.

I purchased carrier AC three years ago. There is a problem with the compressor.I called the customer care several times, the customer service is very pathetic. I've been calling them for the past one month, no response from their end.Never ever go for a Carrier AC.I am fed up with carrier technicians.

Carrier AC(estrella 1.5 TON) — No response even after 3 months of followup

Carrier AC, Customer Service Division has not provided me with a DEMO ,even after 3 months of purchase and numerous complaints about cooling problems with the AC.
The situation is so bad that i have hardly used my AC and my cooler gives me a bettrer cooling than the AC.
I have already mailed a no. of times and even called up one of their guys who manages the service engineers but still i have not recieved any reponse.
I must say that both the product as well the service provided by Carrier AC's is pathetic and disgraceful and the only way out i see is probably through consumer court.

sir day we bought ac mastero 1.5 is never cut off at marked temperature .they r saying ac is not installd at right place by their enggeniers as we r not satisfied by the piece they have installed

carrier — Poor installation & after sales service

I purchased Carrirer Durakool 1.0 Ton split A.C. from M/s. Airconditioning Centre on 23.04.2009 & am suffering since then due to poor installation. The problem is, that they only come at their suitable time & I am away from home, when they come. They do it their way, as my wife doesn't understand all this.

There has been a constant water leakage problem since then & have called CARRIER end number of times (almost 50-100 times) since then. Carrier technicians told me that it was a poor installation by their dealer Airconditioning Centre, but the dealer didn't admit it. Finally I had to pay re-installation charges of Rs. 3,000/- (including the temporary bamboo structure cost for outside unit) to Airconditioning Centre, but thry again came for installation when I was away from Kolkata & could not wait for few days for me to return back & get it done in my presence. I came back to Kolkata just to see the water falling again on my bed (The indoor unit is located just over it), as the installation was poor once again.

Since then, I have ben calling Carrier on regular basis, their technicians visiting my house, doing this & that, but the problem is persistant & so are my calls to Carrier & my mattress & the A.C. both are spoiling-up.

One year passed-by doing all this & Carrier people approached me for the A.M.C. I repeated the problem to them once again & they serviced my A.C. & the waterproblem stopped for few days & the A.M.C. was done. But this time, the problem aggrevated.

Now my A.C. has 2 problems. The new one is Icing problem. The machine works fine during the day time, if the temperature is not set below 20 degree & the water keeps falling. But at night, the water stops falling & Ice-formation starts if the temperature is set below 24 degree. The whole condensor of the inside unit gets covered with ice & the room temperature gets hotter than normal (without A.C.). Ultimately, I have to switch it off.

I lodged complaints several times, engineer from Carrier also visited several times & finally asking me again for a re-installation of the indoor unit. They fixed it yesterday again & the problem has aggrevated now.
Now the water is falling from more places, alignment is poorer than earlier & the ice formation has increased further. But to my utter surprise, the contractor sent by Carrier, spared no effort to insult my wife & me both, as the payment was not done to him instantly after work. He was told that the amount of Rs.700/- for re-installation of indoor unit shall be paid after I check the A.C, after returning home, but he was not ready to listen & he just wanted his money to be paid at any cost. Somehow, he was sent back with a promise to be paid today. He called me up today morning asking for payment. When I asked him to come & see what he had done, he says he can't come now & his money must be paid & he doesn't know any Carrier-Varrier.

I just want to understand have I committed a crime by purchasing a Carrier machine. I would have been at much comfortable position, had I bought a local machine, as I would have been to nab the vendor & that vendor would have also come at a time suitable to me & these type of problems would never have arised, as I could have checked the installation done by him.

I SINCERELY NOT RECOMMEND CARRIER TO ANYBODY, AS THEIR AFTER-SALES IS A HELL. MY REGULAR ELECTRONICS VENDOR HAD WARNED ME OF THIS & RATHER RECOMMENDED ME LG/SAMSUNG/HITACHI, WHO HAVE A MUCH BETTER CUSTOMER SATISFACTION LEVEL, COMPARED TO CARRIER.
I would have never suffered, had I listened to his sincere advice, as all my other electrnic equipments have never given me any pain till now.

Carrier Durakool AC — POOR SERVICE

I purchased carrier Durakool AC of 1.5 ton in the month of JUN 2007 BY AMIT ELECTRICALS ,KASHIPUR.We are also facing some problem . we raised several complaints stating that we couldnot use it. but none turned up from the customer service. Very poor customer service.

I Purchased carrier duracool 1.5 ton in the month of Aril 2007 l never got any after sale service which were free during the 1 year (warantee period)

Now the AC has started troubling due to some fault, i logged the complaint but nobody turned up.

Please see to it and get things resolved.
