[Resolved]  Carrier AC — Bad Customer Service

Hi

I purchased carrier Durakool AC of 1.5 ton in the month of Feb 2008.I started using it in march 2008 but it was not working.Even after several complains in carrier AC call center no technician had visite my home and rectify my problem.

It seems that i did a mistake by purchasing carrier AC.

I AM SORRY TO PEN, I HAD PURCHASED TWO NOS.1.5 MT WINDOW A/C MODEL ESTRELLA ON 04TH MARCH-2012 FROM KHOSLA ELECTRONICS, KOLKATA.OUT OF TWO ONE MACHINE IS DEFECTIVE.VIDE COMPLAINT NO:-KOL/515 DTD:-09/07/12 AFTER 4 DAYS SERVICE ENGINEER CAME & RECTIFIED IN SUCH A MANNER IT STARTS SOUND LIKE AEROPLANE OR YOU MAY SAY BIG COOLER SOUND.AGAIN I COMPLAINT ON 14TH JULY 2012 VIDE COMPLAINT NO:-KOL/887, TILL NOW 5(FIVE DAYS GONE) NO ONE HAS COME TO RECTIFY THE AC.I HAVE DIALED TOLL FREE NO:[protected] &[protected].BUT IT IS ALL IN VAIN.NO ONE BOTHER WHEN THE SERVICE ENGINEER WILL COME, GOD KNOWS.

IF THIS IS THE SERVICE GIVEN BY THE WORLD REPUTED COMPANY LIKE CARRIER, THEN NO ONE WILL DARE TO BUY CARRIER AC.I WILL SAY LG GIVE SERVICE WITH IN A DAY.AS I WANTED TO BUY BETTER REPUTED COMPANY LIKE YOU, I HAVE TO SUFFER TILL NOW.IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF I WOULD HAVE PURCHASED HITACHI OR O-GENERAL.

IF YOU CAN'T RECTIFY THE AC, IT IS ONLY 4 MONTHS OLD, PLEASE REPLACE BY A NEW ONE IMMEDIATELY.SUCH A CARELESS & RADICULOS SERVICE I HAVE NOT SEEN IN ANY HOME APPLIANCE PRODUCT MANUFACTURER.

Carrier AC — not see my status

at first i purchased two item(panasonic lcd tv and a double door freeze) then i purchased a career ac now the emi is continuing.but now cant see my acctual status.please .do somthing .

Carrier after sales service is worst in the world and one should not go for carrier product and stop others for going for Carrier product .

I purchased Carrier Estella 1.5 Ton AC on 10th April 2013 from M/s Fairdeal Electronics, Delhi. On 13/04/2013 at the time of Installation of AC, the Technician from M/s Fairdeal Electronics opened the Cartoon in front of me and found the Remote missing inside the Cartoon and immediately, I lodged a complaint with Carrier Customer Care. After, dialling the number[protected] atleast 20-25 times the technicians visited my home on 16/04/2013. They as well as Shri Iqbal Khan, Supervisor promised to supply the Remote and give the Demo of the AC within two working days.However, even after lapse of 7 days and numerous calls to Carrier Customer Care Executives and Shri Iqbal Khan, Supervisor there is no response from Carrier. This type of service is really pathetic. In the absence of Remote/ Demo I am unable to run the AC, inspite of so hot weather conditions. Please let me know whom to escalate the issue where proper action can be taken against them.

hey guys plz don't buy the a.c of this company bcoz they dont give AFTER SALE SERVICE PROPERLY... i am feeling very bad after buying their product...

I used UPS carriers to deliver 15 boxes of dialysis fluid from Spain to my daughers in Marham Norfolk UK just before Christmas it arrived the day before we flew over, it was damaged soaking wet ONE of the box had to be distroyed as the fluid inside one of the boxes was leeking and as we didnt know how long it happened we were told by a hospital in cambridge to distroy it all in the box as it was now contaminated. The other boxes were wet but waqs ok to use as i do dialysis on my husband 4 times a day. This is still going on and i have not received any compensation for this damage which is to the value of 1431 pounds which i cannot afford to lose. if they just gave me some compensation it would be something but they are still not doing anything about it. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE GIVEN BY THE CALL CENTRE AND COMPLAINT IS STILL NOT RESOLVED AFTER SO MANY FOLLOWUPS
i purchased split ac esttella model 1.5 ton in 2009.since than it is troubling every year .last year it was gas leakage.
this year 17 april 2014 i lodged a complaint regarding cooling of this split ac on toll free no[protected] and got registered as cust id 91209161
the complaint was attended after THREE days and connector was found not working and service mechanic took that connector to bring the new one.after 10 days it was attended with new connector which was not the exactly same as required so it did not work.since than i keep on calliing service centre and concerned person in lucknow but no solution has been done so far. this is very shameful for such a big company to respond in such away that in 25 days no solution is given and my self suffering in peak period of summers.
I REALLY FEEL VERY SORROY FOR THIS TYPE OF SEVICE GIVEN BY SUCH A REPUTED COMPANY AND BRINGING BAD NAME

Hi,
I have a carrier Window AC and asked for service few weeks ago.Technician came at my place for service and found that there is a fault in the AC cooling coil.He charged Rs 300+ also for that visit and told be that they will order the coil and fix it.Its been more then 3 weeks and no update that.
I called customer care many times since then to get an update but all representatives told me that they will get back to me on this.But no update/ no call.For the last 3 weeks, they are waiting for that part.
I stay in Gurgaon and Carrier's main office is also in Gurgaon but in spite of this the company is not capable enough to resolve this request.Customer care tells that technicians are busy handling other complaints. (Must be earning money by just cleaning ACs in the name of Service).
Customer care representative ask me to call Technicians for this.Its been 3 yrs I bought this AC and got it repaired 2nd time now.Poorest quality.
Hope you understand the concern here.

I have purchase 1 ton Carrier split Ac on 22nd March 2014 from Vijay Sales at Borivali West near Borivali Stn, S.V Road. Basically we have purchase split AC for my pet since its too hot for my four legged friend. But suddenly my AC stopped working on 27th April 2014 Tuesday, we called up service helpline number[protected] that our Carrier Split AC 1 Ton is not working so after having a word with the helpline staff we received a message from them which i hereby attach for your kind information which says your customer Id: 91213741 that our service team will attend to your query shortly BY SAYS WITHIN 24 HOURS. On 29th April 2014 when we again gave a call to the helpline centre they fooled us saying that in their system it shows that technician will attend at your place in the evening between 4pm to 5pm. Till today, 1st June 2014 after making several complaints at carrier AC Call Centre NOT A SINGLE TECHNICIAN HAD TURNED UP TO RECTIFY THE PROBLEM OR NEITHER THEY CALLS US IN RETURN.

I have bought my air conditioner in the month of Feb. The person who came to install was 19 years old did not have any knowledge. He broke my wall, my tiles and even my grill. I have got no reimbursement from carrier for this. After that I have 5 complaints since then. I was told it was because installation was not done correctly. Finally Mr. Ankur Doshi had decided to give me a replacement on the 20th of June. I was told the air conditioner would reach my house by 25th June. Today it is 27th June and there is no one yet. No one is even answering calls. I am fed up with the service at carrier.

I had got gas refilled in my 1.5 ton window AC from Carrier Service center in noida (Midea - Sector 63 ) on 15th May 2014 . Within one month gas was leaked and now they are asking to get the coil replaced by new coil . I need to understand from carrier if a coil replacement was required why was not I informed earlier . How can the quality of coil degrade to such a level in one month that it needs replacement.? I am going to raise this issue in detail with CNBC pahredar as the quality of service (atleast noida service center is pathetic ) .I will never recommend anyone to buy carrier ac and those who have nought should avail service from local vendors (good and reputed local vendors)([protected])
I PURCHASED CARRIER SPLIT AC IN THE YEAR 2011 FROM ELECTRO WORLDS, GORAKHPUR, UTTAR PRADESH BUT SINCE THEN I AM FACING PROBLEM WITH THIS AC.INITIALLY WITH ITS OPERATION AND NOW EVERY YEAR IHAVE TO REFILL GAS THAT COSTING 2600/-.ON 2ND JULY I AGAIN GO THROUGH GAS FILLING OF MY AC. AFTER A PERIOD OF ONE MONTH AGAIN MY AC IS RUNNING WITHOUT COOLING.I PURCHASED CARRIER AC DUE TO ITS REPUTAION BUT IT IS POSING PROBLEM TIME AND AGAIN. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT I HAVE TO DO. EVERY YEAR THERE IS A COMPLAIN OF GAS LEAKAGE FOLLOWED BY REFILLING THAT COSTNG 2650/- NO BODY CONCERN FAILED TO DETECT LEAKAGE OF GAS.ON 2ND. JULY 2014 AGAIN GAS FILLING BEING DONE ON THE COMPLIN OF COOLING NOT TAKING PLACE. AFTER 25 DAY'S AGAIN COOLING PROBLEM OCCURED . NOW THE AGENCY (ELECTRO WORLD' BANK ROAD ' GORAKHPU' UP ) MECHANIC ARRIVED AFTER FORCING BY ME THAT WHY IT(GAS) HAS LEAKED AFTER SOME INSPECTION HE TOLD THAT I HAVE TO SEND IT TO THE WORKSHOP AS LEAKING IS NOT DETECTED ANYWHERE NOW YOU CAN IMAGINE SINCE LAST THREE YEARS THE SAME STEP DID NOT TAKEN BY THE AGENCY. ON 19.08.2014 THEY TOOK AWAY MY AC ON SAYING THAT AFTER REPAIR IT WILL RETURN TO YOU. TRASPORTATION CHARGE WAS PAID BY ME. ON 20.08.14 I PHONED TO THE AGENCY WHAT HAPPENED ABOUT MY AC, THEY TOLD THAT YOUR AC HAS REOAIRED YOU PLEASE COME AND COOLECT IT. NOW YOU SEE THE DOUBLE POLICY OF THE AGENCY, WHEN THEY TOOK AWAY MY AC THEY ASSURED ME THAT IT WILL SENT TO YOU. NOW I AM BEING A SENIOR CITIZEN WHO HAS NO TRANSPOTATION FACILITY HOW THIS AC WILL CARRY. AT THE SAME TIME IT IS WORTH TO MENTION THAT ON 2.07.14 I PAID FOR REFILLING OF GAS AND SERVICE CHARGE RS. 2650/- AGAIN ON 20.08.14 THEY ARE AGAIN CHARGING 3250/-.I BEING A RETIRED RAILWAY PERSON WHOSE ONLY INCOME IS MERE PENSION WILL ABLE TO TWICE FOR THE SAME PURPOSE. I had purchased a carrier ac in 2013 and later i had to shift my house and registered a call with carrier ac to shift the ac to the new house, the technician who had come did not know how to install the ac which resulted in gas leakage later after several complaints another technician had come and checked and told that the ac was not fit properly hence there was a gas leakage. Just after 2 months again gas leakage again the same procedure followed so many calls later tech guy visited and told hat the gas was not filled properly for visiting they wanted 450 and for filling gas 3600 later after lot of argument they accepted that the mistake was from there end and did it free of cost. PEOPLE DO NOT EVER BUY CARRIER PRODUCTS AS THEY ARE NOT WORTH OUR HARDEARNED MONEY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS PATHETIC
