[Resolved] Castrol Bike Zone, Pallavaram — Misinterpreting their own sentences they spoke the previous day
the staff Nambi was so politely enquiring the complaints and noted it down in a small paper when the bike has been taken for a test ride by Mr.Balaji in another uniform, with proper helmet.Even here they said the vehicle will be ready only by the next day evening and it was so polite, respectful and decent when these people spoke here.Everything was fine and smooth as long as the bill came.While giving a job card the major complaint given by me was engine oil leakage and the silencer welding.During the job card time i very well remember calling up my friend in my mobile to enquire about the maximum expense he prefers to go for and when it was estimated as Rs.4200/- i asked is that for whole lot of complaints he said including everything and so i remember calling up my friend and deleting the silencer part and asked for the estimate and he said without silencer it would cost Rs.!200/- since the cost of new silencer assembly would come up to Rs.3000/-so as per my friend's request i asked this Nambi to call me up and tell wwhether the welding of silencer woud take us through for now and told him clearly not to go for a replacement this time.But when he called up in the morning to update me status, he said the engine oil leakgae is nothing as we anticipated and its only a minor task and its arrested but then when i asked about the silencer he just said the welding would even worsen the condition and so left the silencer untouched.and befor finishing the call ensured that the bike willl be ready by 5.30 in the evening.And in the evening till 6 pm there was no call and so i called and enquired and then he initially told he has done the silencer replacement and so the bill amount would be some whee around Rs.4600/-When i started yelling at him and posing so many questions then he reframed the sentence and said it is just left untouched and its because of the engine job the bill has reached Rs.4000 + and again when i reminded him of the morning's telephonic conversation he then said sir there's a power cut and so i dont have the job card copy or the bill or access to computer so he appologised and then asked me when am i comming and i said i am already half way through and so asked him to call me up once the power comes back.he did call back in 5 mins and said the total bill is Rs.4648/-and gave completely differnet scenario which never happened, and so when i went there for enquiring how the bill is ove Rs.4000 when he assured without silencer replacement it would cost Rs.1200 only, he with his subordinate were trying to give me a new interpratation for the whole scenario and they were saying how would such a big list of complaints cost only Rs.1200 and were ridiculing at me.they were taking me for granted that just like them even the customers will be aware of the approximate cost just by seeing the comlaints column alone filled and just by leaving the respective estimated column free and blank and at the end they were forcing me to pay the billed Rs.4468 odd rupees and that was the amount initially coated by him for replacing the silencincer assembly or if the engine boring work has to be done.any of this major task given might take Rs.3000 each and this experience and the whole set of events has given a very bad impression on whe whole of castrol bike zone not only for me but also for 3 of my friends who came to drop me witht heir bike and who were also initially convinced by me to gget their bikes serviced in various castrol bike zones accross the city when the right time comes.now witnessing all this they were all releaved that they came to know of this kind of trap to loot the customers just by playing with words and interpreting the coversations in a never happend.
