I bring to your kind attention that on 6 September 2011, at about 12.50 noon, I dropped my daughter at airport- Departure Transit point and taking off the languages out from the car and began to hand over to my daughter. In the mean time, three persons came and locked one wheel of my car, immobilized and there after they bounced on me and demanded money to move the car. I refused to pay them any money, but requested them to release the lock. They refused to open the lock. When I declined to pay their demand of money, they moved forward towards me in a ferocious manner to assault me. Since hardly any cars in the locality – transit point they gathered and called many more collogues of them, who were in civil dress and possibly, they are unauthorized persons roaming around in the airport area. When I advised them, and comply the rules of the airport authority of India, instead of removing the local and allow my car to move out, they forced me to go along with them to The Manager of the Chennai Airport. The manager on duty also found to be very rude and retorting Saying “since you are talking and I am forced to fine rather than parking at transit point for removal of luggage. He refused to listen to me and forced me to pay Rs 200/ for none of our faults.

Even after payment of Rs 200/ with The Manager, the recovery van staff deliberately disappeared from the scene for more than thirty minutes, making us to wait any causing inconvenient to others and caused embarrassment and humiliation in front of the other stakeholders found around us instead of release the lock.
In this situation, I am very much shocking to read your mission and vision and experience the activities of the lower level staff and the Manager at Chennai Airport. Considering my experience, I feel the Chennai Airport is the place of harassment and torture.

Herewith I enclose the photo of the two individuals (taken when they came close to the car furiously when I moved away with fear) who lead the barbaric act with their gang.
Please take appropriate action against the Manager on duty and other individuals of the gang who accused us harassment and torture at transit point of Chennai Domestic Airport on 6 September 2011 at about 12.50 noon.

Unauthorised car parking charges collecting in the name of premium parking at chennai international airport . Parking tariff is
car/van 60/- minibus/coach /truck 70/-
courtesy coach 225/- two wheeler 15/-. Under airport authority terms and condition, Premium car parking area is only 20% of total parking area. But the licencee M/S KARNATAKA AVIATION SUPPORT SERVICES provided 90% of premium car park and 10% of normal car park. Parking users are complaint this several times to airport authority of india . The officials didn't take necessary action against this illegal, day theft. Kindly solve this problem at the earliest .
