Cleartrip — cheating customers by not providing refund of cancelled ticket due to cancellation of flight
It is highly unfortunate that the customers of cleartrip are made to do numerous follow – ups for their refund, let me tell you that the loss of goodwill to cleartrip is going to be very high because of this and people will definetly not avail your services if this the the way things are dealt at your end.
My flightfrom Delhi to Amritsar Air IndiA AI-188 was cancelled on 27th december 2010, after a mail to cleartrip i was promised a refund within 7 days and maximum 15days.. it is the 28th of january 2011 and there has been no refund or any intimation from your end.
i was provivded bus transport from delhi to amritsar which costed 1200rs. my arilines icket costed rs. 3448 and was told by the airlines to approach the travel agent (cleartrip) for the refund. now on contacting them clartrip is asking me to contact air india and visit air inida office etc.. why should a customer be hassled this way, in that case i could have directly booked through the airlines and not them.
The customer care executives are not responding and are very callous in thier natur.
i wish to file a case against them for refund of my ticket (bal amt) rs. 2248 and also a further compensation for mental harassement.
please do not force your customer to take up legal recourse
