[Resolved]  Club Mahindra Holidays — Cancellation of membership

I took a membership of Red Studio for 3.7Lakh after the sweet talks of sales personnel.
I had taken cash back option against the LCD. Also I was given the free coupons of stay, food
After a while I received the kit with loads of document, voucher and LCD which I did not ask for.
I planned to avail the free coupons and there were no rooms available till next few months. After lot of fighting with emails and telecon I have finally decided to cancel the membership.

Again after regular discussions and meeting the refund option is declined. I am going for legal consumer case against Club Mahindra and also criminal case for cheating me.

If anyone has experienced or has other alternate method for successful receiving the refunds kindly let me know.

I, myself Mr Ananta Kumar Biswas, Club Mahindra Holidays Membership No- 1409684, would like to request you kindly do something fraud Club Mahindra Holidays Membership Againts. Last six month I am very much fed up on calling to your Vashi Office as well as your mail Feedback window. I have not received any positive reply from both on call or mail other than your auto-generated mail. From your Vashi Office I am getting assurance, I will get my refund within one week or particular date but that one week or that particular date never comes. I am so much fed up on calling or writing, sometime I feel taking petrol match-box light up your Vashi Office but I am educated my humanity does not permit thats why I am writting to this Complaints Board. Sometime I feel making a blogs against your Club Manindra Holidays to spoil your Brand-name. My humanity does not permit that also because I know how much time and money require to making a brand. I don’t want to do that just because few third-class officer on call/feedback window.

I want to cancell my membership of club mahindra. I have applied to cancell the membership and mailed to [protected]@clubmahindra.com
They responded me that there is no refund available to me.
I have never availed any facility from club mahindra and I have paid more than 50000 rs. to club mahindra.
Now i want to cancell the membership and want my money refund back.
Please guide me in this regard as they are denying to refund any membership fees paid by me upto date.
Please tell me what legal proceedings available to me in this regard.
They also take illegal means to sell their membership.
Even they tell a lie while selling their membership.
I want to come out from their trap.

My Club Mahindra membership no. is 1648171. I had taken membership of Club Mahindra (CM) by paying 10% downpayment of Rs. 25000 and rest of the amount was agreed to be paid 60 EMI to be debited to my card on the 7th of every month. However, the 1st and 2nd installment were debited to my card on the 8th of Feb and 8th of March 2010 respectively. The 3rd instalment was debited to my card on 7th of April. Thus, in the month of April, due to the irregular debits made by CM, the amount was debited twice to my card account in the same month and hence I had to pay it twice. To avoid this, I had requested CM to temporarily credit the amount for April 2010 and debit it immediately again so that I need not pay the same twice in this month. However, they disagreed stating that their procedures dont allow such things. The CM people told me that whenever there are any Sundays or holidays, such kind of irregularities in debit will occur and they cant help it. I therefore opted for cancellation of my membership, and refund of amounts paid till date. However, I got a mail stating that they cannot repay the amounts paid till now because, as per their rules and regulations (which were not shared with me before applying for membership), the amounts paid till date have been fully apportioned to administrative fee of membership cost of 25 years and entitlement fee for 1 year. I have not yet completed 4 months in membership and I wont be able to enjoy the holidays till 18 EMIs are paid. Therefore, the refusal of CM to repay my membership fee due to some stupid regulations seem unjust and unfair especially when they are not informed earlier.

Further, as per the offer at the time of joining membership, on payment of 2 EMI I was entitled to an LCD TV withinb 45 days of realisation of 2nd instalment. I had told them about cancellation about 40 days (14 April 2010) after realisation of the 2nd installment, and now they are telling me that since the system is showing cancellation request, they cannot dispatch the TV as promised.

CM is holding me to ransom, on one hand by refusing the refund of membership fees already paid by apportionment to administrative fees of 25 years, for which I have not enjoyed any holidays, and on the second hand, by refusing the dispath the TV as promised, even after paying 3 installments.

Kindly look into the matter and help me get a refund of membership fees.

STAY AWAY from the company Club Mahindra... I am a (un-happy) member too, even after paying so much, I do not get my holidays, they ask us to plan 6 months in advance, all services in their resorts are to be paid extra, dining charges are too high, ASF (annual subscription fees) to be paid extra each year in addition to membership fees (the ASF charges increase every year), not all resorts have kitchenettes... long list of issues which the management doesn;t care for, all they want is to make new members. Indira - please stop posting the same old lines on all the complaints, whatever the resolution, please post it here so that everyone should know what CM is doing for the complaints.
I took membership from club mahindra, in may 2012.i went to gir resort on15june2012, and due problem in my vehicle i reached the resort at about 3am.In the morning when we woke up late and i reached for breakfast at10.20am they denied to provide the breakfast.Immediately I left the resort after giving feedback .and then again in november2012 I asked niraj club mahindra representative to book my trip for navalgarh fort resort, after one he called me saying that my booking has been made for 15 nov 2012 and i will get a sms for the same.but idid not received any message for the confirmation of my booking .they spoiled my holiday plan for two consecutive times.i have made the payment of rs.52000/= .

now i have decided to discontinue the membership with club mahindra and willing to get my entire amount alongwith the prevailing rate of interst and compensation for the mental harassment that i have suffered since last year.

We usually never believe the reviews in blogs etc as people are biased in many cases. But in this case of cancellation of membership, I have to sadly agree with all reviews and complaints. We cancelled our membership within 10 days itself..but still waiting for a response from someone... We get silly reasons like, email not registered etc for not processing our refund. While taking membership, it does not matter on whose name it is or who can provide ECS(either me or my spouse). But while cancelling, all of a sudden this is very important.

I have applied for club mahindra membership on 30/11/2014 at 10.30pm. at Growel Mall, Kandivali. and would like to cancel it immediately on second day.I have paid 15 % OF THE MEMBERSHIP FEE Rs 21300, They also created my membership ID against my decision, membership Id 2605515. please help me to refund my money back pls its humble request.
Hi, I want to cancel my membership. My membership number 2612010. I gave my details and paid initial amount on 31 Dec 2014. Next day I called your sale executive and asked him that I don't want to join but he didn't listen to me. I also dropped a mail to [protected]@clubmahindra.com ( request no MHRIL=[protected]. Later many people called me and told me that they are looking into the matter. But no resolution yet. I am in 10 day look up period so want to cancel my membership and want my full refund. Please share refund details.
