I had purchased an 40" LCD TV of Samsung make on 04/07/2011, which went out of order within 16 months. The company has given me an estimate of 20300=00 towards repair cost. They are claiming that their warranty was only for one year, hence it can not be repaired free of cost. However, I had also requested them that I am ready to bear some reasonable amount, since amount quoted by them is not justified looking at its period o[censored]se . My simple argument on this is whether a middle class consumer spends 50, 000=00 to 60, 000=00 for buying a product, which could not even lasts for 16 months. How the olden models (box type) of Sony TV used to last for years together (15 to 20 years).

Since 22/11/2012, I had lodged number of complaints with their call centre, Company's CEO (via email through company's site) and written various letters to the company. However, they have not sent even one single reply to me, however, their technical team members have contacted me on three occasions. Even after rigorous followup, the Company did not considered to do the job even on concessional basis. On 19/12/2012, Mr. Arvind, an officer at Samsung Company had called me (phone no. [protected] ) and stated that the company has considered to do the job @ Rs.17, 300=00 only.

Now, I would request you to kindly lodge my claim for complete replacement of the TV along with harassment and complete court expenditure. Kindly mail me all the required forms for lodging the claim and registering the case.

This has reference to my complaint no.[protected] with your company for the captioned 40” Samsung LCD TV.

The technician from your Authorised Service Centre has inspected the LCD on 23/11/2012 and submitted an estimate of Rs.20, 293/= (copy attached herewith for your reference) on 26/11/2012 for replacement of Panel (Picture Tube). The reason for breakdown of the LCD given by your technician is “Voltage Fluctuation Problem”. He charged me an amount of Rs.1, 125=00 just for informing me about the fault.

Sir, I feel that your technicians needs a sophisticated training & upgraded information about your own product. Let me inform that we don’t face any Voltage Fluctuation Problem here at Thane. However, let us assume that even if the problem persists, even a lay man can tell you that the LCD wouldn’t have last for one hours of time due to power fluctuation. Being a technical person, I disagree with the observations of your technician. Further, as per your product guide, there is an in-built voltage stabilizer in your product, which would restrict such problems.

I may inform that the said LCD TV was purchased by me on 04/07/2011 i.e. hardly a year and five months ago. I feel that the real problem lies either in your product itself that is why your company extends a warranty of ONE YEAR ONLY OR with your Authorised Service Centres, who simply wants to exploit / loot the middle class people of India along with your company by submitting such a huge amounts of repair cost, which is almost equivalent to purchase cost of a new LCD TV.

May I inform that many companies offer extended warranty (e.g. car cos.) for their products as they are confident of their products. However, it seems your company is not confident of its own product, hence does not come up with such offers, which could benefit the consumers and restricted the warranty period only up to ONE YEAR. This shows the clear moto of looting the Indian people.

May I recall upon few years back when we were using 21” SONY TV sets, which were lasting for years together (15 to 20 years) and we ourselves had discarded those TV sets due to new LCD TV sets launched by your company. Today I really repent for the decision taken by me for buying your product. I really believe that your company is definitely selling sub-standard products, which could not even last for ONE YEAR AND FIVE MONTHS.

Under the circumstance, I sincerely request you to send a well trained technician from your SAMSUNG Company itself to redress the problem at a very ECONOMICAL COST.

I hope that you will definitely do the needful within a week time in this regard and will not compel me to knock the doors of Consumer Forum / The Court and save the valuable time of yours as well as mine.

Let me brief out that after my complaint dated December 6, 2012, addressed to you, some of your executives contacted me on the same day. However, they did to sing the song, for which my ears were waiting for.
Since, I was committed to wait for ONE WEEK, I kept my patience and waited for some more time so that your company may take corrective decision in a reasonable time. Subsequently, on Monday i.e. December 10, 2012 once again one of your executive had contacted me and requested me to consider bearing some reasonable amount towards the repair cost. After a lot of discussions, on his request, I agreed to bear an amount of Rs.4000=00 to 5000=00, the maximum possible for me. He then informed me that he is going to put it up to higher management and let me know in a day or two. However, till today nobody from your office has turned back and which force me to loose my patience.
I don’t think that a company like Samsung needs so much of time to consider the case favourably.
Under the circumstances, I once again request you to look into the matter on a most urgent basis and inform your decision preferably through mail in a day or two, in order to help me in deciding the further course of action at my end.

Gen Next Motors LTD(Andheri) — In Spite of Full amount paid, but the dealer is not giving the delivery of car

I have paid the full amount of car to gen next motors andheri mumbai, by 25th DEC 2012, but they are still not giving me the delivery of car.
I am Rahul, I had purchased a xperia x10 handset from reliance digital situated in bangalore JP nagar 2nd phase 2nd Oct, 2011. In july-aug 2012, my handset fallen dead, I got it repaired from authorised service station of sony situated in bijapur, but again it fallen dead on the same day when I got it. when I went back to the service stations of sony, they told me that they cannot provide any services as the handset manufacturing has been closed. But that is secondary if the handset is in warranty period then at any cost they have to provide me the service.Then I went to the bangalore service stations situated in jayanagar 4th & 7th block & JP nagar 2nd phase, they told me the same thing, I talked to the customer support as well & I got the same reply. This is not done if they are manufacturing a handset atleast till the warranty period they have to provide services or make replacement. I want them to make replacement for handset. Please help me out with this.

They said you will get your car in month of January/2013. I am airtel dth customer with id [protected], , , kishore jain, , from the date of buying I am having a signal strength problem...i made many complaints, then they replace my full cable at my cost...that too was of inferior quality...that was confirmed to me when the next servicemen came for my signal proble...he told all those 2 connectors are also not compatiabble with this dth box and dish...we had already paid for everything they replaced with service charges, , , now again they are asking for serivce charge and two new connectors, , , as we rqstd them, , , that why we should pay for the mistake o[censored]r servicemen a month back, , they told that u have to pay, , , and they didnt attend the problem, and started leaving our premises..
We hadnt expected this kind of aftersales service from indias top most organisation, , , appointment such lower grade employee having no ecperience, , and cheating the customer with inferior quality replacement parts..i.e. We can say duplicate products...

Till date(31/01/2013) I didn't get my product. So many times i had complained to the customer care executive. Till now I didn't get a single satisfactory answer or any call back from their side. On 19th of december, 2012 I request to customer care executive to cancel my order.They didn't cancel my order.Still on the the website while tracking my order I can see awaiting shippment. After that I received luminus inverter. On their website they have mentioned it will take 48 hours to conform your cancellation. But already 48 days gone, But I didn't get any type of cancellation conformation. Again and again customer care executives are saying within 7 days or 48 hours, we will resolve your problems. Sometimes they are not picking up the phone and sometimes behaving rudely.

If it is possible please help me to get my money back from them. Because I am having sufficient proof against them. I am having mails, request for cancellation mail, order copy, recorded voice of cancellation of order of timtara customer care executive etc.

This is to inform you that I have purchased a Sony TV model No.EX520-40"LED full HD form a authorized dealer i.e. Nightingale Asansol, vide Bill. No 113.dated 25.04.12 )and installed the TV in my house on dt.29.04.12 with Tata sky HD set-up Box but its picture is coming Hazy & of very poor quality within 24 hours I inform the dealer but he told me to contact Sony service engineer .I also contacted to Sony service centre, Asansol and service engineer visited my house they change some setting and still picture was coming like before. Then they told me that problem may be from setup box so I change twice the setup box but there is no change in picture quality. Dated 3.05.12 again visited another engineers and after checking the TV, they told me that software problem is arising in your TV after two or three days I will come back and reload new software and again 14/06/12 visited Sony engineers with a DVD player and checked the TV but picture /video was of very poor quality. The picture was coming with yellow shade & like negative .They also assured me for shorting out the problem, and repairing is steel going on .

( I m sure that the dealer has given me a repair TV or manufacturing defect as because when I visited his shop for purchasing TV he insisted me for 40 inch LED particularly this model, & that time 2 TV was hanging in his wall one is in off position & another was on position I told them to switch on both the TV for compeering but unfortunately the felt to start the TV he told me some fault in HDMI cable .And he requested me” don’t worry I will send you a seal TV” then I pay the full amount & within 4 days they delivered me a TV set but that moment I was not present in my home my daughter inform me & I give permission for fitting the TV as because at the time It was impossible for me to be present personally .When I returned back and started the TV set but picture was not coming clearly and after that I immediately informed the dealer but he told me tomorrow I will send my staff don’t worry there may be some setting problem & after 2 days his staff visited my home they tried there level best but failed in doing so but Quality of pic was same as before After that dealer given me a phone No. of Sony. service centre & suggested me to call the service centre next day service engineer visited again and after checking the set he found software problem after 3-4 days revisited & updated some software but they can’t solving the problem. The Service eng asked for the details of product which mention in cartoon but all the information was screeched out from the cartoon of the TV set even mfg. Date also after that I also inquired them about the screech but they answered nothing ... this is the factual position).


After whole of a week sony service engineer visited my house and repair the set but now again there is a problem since started from 20.1.13 like before and this time mostly pictures comes colourless/negative type then I inform to service centre & Sony eng. Visited my house &after check-up the set he told me it is panel problem I will inform our company after 1 week we will change new panel on 24.1.13 they visited and repaired the set . I think there was a manufacturing defect because from the date of purchasing till now all most the year went on repairing of the set Hardly, 2 months are left from the guaranty/warranty period so you r requested kindly look in to the matter and take necessary steps so can solve our problem I agree to take another model and ready to pay the difference amt and if not then arrange for extend the warranty for two years from the date of last repairing with complete product 9not only panel) I. hope u will take care so can I get justice.

I purchased a BB Z10 on 1.03.2013. On the day of purchase I asked the salesmen that why this is heating or hot. He told me that this is a battery issue and it will get settled once battery is charged few times. But when the same was continued for another 10 days, I again visited the shop and I was again explained that this problem will be resolved once you will use the phone few more days. However when this problem still continued I contacted the shop and told him that now this phone is giving me a lot of problems. Earlier this problem was not so irritating because the used to get normal after 1-2 hrs. But now the problem has become very grave and phone gets hot immediately after setting the phone on. The other problems are as follows:
1. There is time lag of atleast 30 seconds in sending SMS and forwarding the same.
2. There is also the time lag in opening the call log.
3. The display in the TEXT message window for the all the options are not in symmetry.

When now I contacted the service center in JANAK PURI, they refused to issue the DO. They are not at all helping and rather obliging me by giving a number of options like repairing or giving me the used phones. It is very surprising that the black berry is not concerned about its reputation. They are running their service centers with the help of HCL, who has such a bad reputation for their earlier services for NOKIA. You can imagine that what kind of damage this HCL can do to your business. Please help me in fighting with the GUNDAGARDI of HCL and BB, if both are one and the united. I wish that BB can understand this in time other wise they will lose the Premium segment market to the existing giants Apple & Samsumg.

I am having the complete list and telephone no.s of all the executives whom I talked in this matter. It is further surprising that BB has only 2 Service Centers in metro like Delhi. I believe that the company like Carbon and Lemon must be having more than 2 SC in Delhi. BB is at the mercy of HCL.I would like to further add that if BB has to increase its share they will have to improve their after sales, other wise no body can help them.
