[Resolved]  COMPAQ Computer — duplicate software product

I had purchased a COMPAQ desktop, last year 17th of January (2009),recently on updating my system I came to know that the windows xp service pack 2 ,which was installed by the dealer was not a original copy of operating system.
My system is running over an duplicate copy of windows operating system which performance is not up mark .
The main problem is that the dealer is no longer present in the showroom, the showroom is locked.
I have all the document related to warranty of the computer.
What would I do to get a original copy of operating system?
