I wish to state that I have paid Rs.2199/- towards the Book of Collins Complete History of the World and I was promised to get free Air Ticket worth Rs.7,000/- which untill date I have not received anything from your end.

Kindly do the needful at the earliest.

Non receipt of free gifts
I had registered for Rs.60 lacs sweepstake entry through envelop.
Thereafter I got a envelop from India Today Book Club offering to purchase the book named "Complete History Of The World". Alongwith this they offered three assured free gifts-

1. Reebok Classic Watch
2. Round-trip Air Ticket worth Rs.7000 for air travel in India.
3. 8 Bestsellers worth Rs.2300/- or more

I have received Complete History of the World, Reebok Watch & 8 Bestsellers whereas Round trip Air Ticket Worth Rs.7000/- have not been received.

On speaking to them they have informed to log on their website bookstoday.in/promos.htm and claim free gifts by mentioning the unique identification number.

Unfortunately after trying several times it is not being logged and shows error in the identification number.

ITBC have failed in their commitments and have failed to deliver the freebies and now are giving excuse of logging on their sites for claiming the gifts. It is misleading and people are fooled after they have made the payment.

The matter is to be taken up seriously with them and ensure they fulfil their committments or pay the money back to me alonwith penalty and fine so that such things are not repeated in future.

i placed an order for the book "complete history of the world". I received the book along with 2 free gifts out of 3. With the book i received reebok watch & 6 cd's & 2 books. But till today I can't reveived the 3rd assured gift i.e Round Trip Air Ticket worth Rs. 7000/-.

So do the needfull.

But so far the above book is not received till date. kindly return the payment at your earlist

Complete History of the world — LETTERS SENT THRU COURIER AND E-MAIL NO RESPONSE

Inspite of sending umpteen letters and e-mails M/s India Today Book Club has not responded.
I have paid an amount of Rs.2199/- (Rs. Two thousand one hundred nintynine) by debit of credit card on 15.03.2010 towards Complete History of the World. I have neither received th book nor the assured gift such as round trip air ticket worth Rs.7000/- Reebok Classic Watch worth Rs. 2599/- abd 8 bestsellers worth Rs.2300 or more totalling to Rs.11899/- worth free gifts.
