[Resolved]  Credit Card — WRONG BILLING AND DELAYED BILLING

The bill sent by you against card number [protected](reference no [protected])is highly inflatted bill because interest charged in the bill is not legitimate.How can on a due payment of around 800 rupees till date 500 rupees can be charged as interest?First of all Barclays did not send the bill in time.Further the bill has been sent in this week only by you.That too the interest charged in the bill received on 23/9/08 is high and not correct.The grace period is to be taken into account and only for one and halfmonths interest is to be charged which comes out to around two hundred only.
Therefore the bill correction to be done at your end and because of this highly wrong bill I am not interested in your credit card and please disable the card.
Please also i9nform me your jurisiction as per consumer court point of view.
please reply to me urgently in return e-mail.
I have already spoken to your executive in telephone NO[protected] on 23rd evenning and he assured me to reduce the bill by correction.
PLEASE TREAT THE MATTER AS IMMEDIATE.

I too was offered this offer. You mush have received a call from some agent of Barclay, They would confuse you by sayinng it is free. While explaining all information they will silently put in this clause that it has one time payment of 5000/- and then you can enjoy this vacation. they will meanwhile be recording all that you have been rounded off to say.

Barclay is the worst bank I have ever come across. No amount of words can be enough to tell its trecherous acts of fraud. it is also running a racket of trapping customers with false gifts, there are two Mr. Umag Shah and Mr. Chirag who approached me with an offer to give Wrist Watch from Barclays in case I take this card. I was not alone. There are 250/- such cases I know. And no one got watch. Barclays says no such offer exists. And then, they don't even consider it important to investigate and they know everything about it. I would recommend RBI to send this bank packing to where it belongs.

I do believe it is principal supplier of capital to terrorist organisation. And so does it is staying in such competitive market. Otherwise it would have been shut long back.

Barclaycard — Wrong Billing

I am holding a credit card which is Barclaycard from Barclays Bank. One fine day I got a call from somebody on behalf of Barclay bank. He quoted me as i am their Privileged customer and explained about some scheme for 10 mins which is linked with the bank. Finally he asked my willingness to become member.

I asked him to send some brochure / pamphlet about the scheme as i was not able to understand the features of the scheme. I wanted to know whether the scheme is worthy / useful for me or not. That is why i have asked him to send me the details of the scheme. He didn't send any information about it.

But my next month bill includes the charges for the scheme plus service tax.

The scheme is: Le Membership
The Charge is for: Le Membership Fee
Amount: Rs.5000/-
Service Tax: About 13%

My credit limit is only Rs.24000/-. I have got the card just because of my emergency purpose. I am not such a person to become so and so membership for enjoyment.

The Bank swiped my card without my authorization and sent me a wrong statement. Immediately after getting the bill, i have contacted the customer care and asked them to remove the amount. They didn't do. But still I have not paid the amount.
I will never pay and i will never use the card hereafter.

I am getting call from the bank daily to make the payment for he outstanding. They are irritating me by making calls daily atleast 3-4 times.

Now I am thinking how to take legal action against the bank.

I have Barclay Credit card Sattelment Letter That is September 2008, my sattelment is Rs 9000/-
and pay this amount via breakeup ( Cash 4700 at a time and i give the two cheack one of 2000/- and one 2300/- but after 4 month they are send me a credit card statement that is shown my overdue rs 10000/- somthing i have already mailed from his secvice center, but anyone no satisfy reply

barclays card — excess and wrong billing

I have a credit card of Barclaycard co. no. xxxxxxxxxxxx3227

The Credit card bill bill of Barclayscard-Timescard for March 2010 posted by them on 9/3/2010 was delivered on 6/4/2010 after around 26 or 27 days.

I did not receive the bill by e-mail also.

Also for APRIL 2010 I received SMS that the amount due was Rs.2076/23. 2010.

They have charged a late payment fee of Rs. 600/- servicetax of Rs. 61/80. Also finance charges of Rs. 60/92 and service tax of Rs. 67/19.

A bill of Rs.1657/64 was inflated by Rs.949/59 under different heads. The bill for March 2010 was not received at all before the due date.

Earlier they had in January, 2010 billed twice Rs. 531/- for a single and same transaction in Big Bazar. They also put on me the onus of proving that the transaction was done only once.

I had to go to Big Bazar to get proof that the amount was credited to Axis Bank only once. Axis bank gave the certificate in 1 day. In fact they should pay me service charges. This billing seems to bedeliberate as no electronic transaction takes place automatically and signature was given only once for the slip and also Axis Bank has confirmed the transaction as once only.

They have fooled me around further by charging Rs. 100/- twice with service tax as charge slip retrieval.(whereas I had to run about).

Such a thing never happened in my other credit cards.
