[Resolved]  Credit Card — Wrong Billing

My Credit card number is [protected] Citibank India. On 29th January, 2011 between 12.00 AM to 1.00 AM, I went to Express Service Station, Hosur, Tamilnadu for filling petrol to the vehicle. The Petrol Bunk person took my card, he swiped for Rs. 1,644.16( Rupees One Thousand Six Hundren Fortyfour and Sixteen Paise (25 Ltr of Petrol) and he told that the card is not connected to the network and slip not generated.. Then I paid one thousand Rupees and filled the petrol for one thousand. While checking my account on 4th February, 2011 the amount of Rs. 1,644.16 is debited to my account please credit back the amount which is not utilised and there is no signed acknowledgement for swiping the card.

Please let me know back if any further information you may desire in this connection.

I'm using the Credit Card of AXIS Bank and I did purchasing for more than Rs. 4000.00 in the very first month and I gave the cheque before the due date woth Rs. 2000.00 through cheque for dated[protected] which was cleared on the same date as my due date use to be on 17th of every month and for the rest of the amount I gave the post dated cheque for Rs. 2100.00 of dated[protected] which according to their records they presented to my bank on[protected] which was actually not presented to my bank as I checked up bank statement and they charged me Rs. 300.00 extra as for that as cheque return charges. Actually they presented the same cheque for Rs. 2100.00 on[protected] after a long followed up by myself.

Kindly suggest what should I do about it?

I had been issued card by SBI Card, and was told that as a doctor my card will not have any annual or add on charges.I have been extremely prompt with my payments.I was charged the above charges along with interest in bill dated10 Jan 2008.On calling Ur helpline I was told that the above charges have been reversed. I am pained to note that in bill dated 10 Feb 08 that the above charges have not been reversed. Is SBI out to cheat me, there is no question of any interests as I have paid all bills in full before due dates. If SBI cannot give service though none is expected, it being a govt.entity, it has to be non performing, I still expect an answer to my complaint

I make payment of my bill well with in time through cheque. the cheque was presented by you on 23-07-08, which was cleared. today i received stement of account which shows a charges of 89.66 as finacila charges and 11.08 as service charges. which is wrong. please look into the matter and refund the same

Dear TeamI have a credit Card Of Barclay Bank card No. [protected], card Holder name Mr.Abhishek Singh Chauhan.My Last Bill amount was 9648/- in month April 08 which i had already paid.Problem discription:-1)- After My last payment i got three transaction by my card which was not done from my side means it is missuse of my card so for this i request to your customer service regarding my bill detail but your customer service still not provide me the same. 2)-As on 26th May I recieved transaction verification call from Mumbai and they asked me that Sir, you transact some Dolor From U.S.A through your Barclays Credit card.Hearing this i was totally shocked and refused this statement and then they said to me that Sir, It means somebody is using my card while My Credit card is in my Pocket.then I request to them Kindly Block My Card and on my request they blocked my card and confirmed me the same.After Blocking my card, missusing (Dolor Transaction ) is continue for the whole problem i complaine many times at your Costomer service but i did not get any solution. After Some time i recieved my bill of amt Rs 6857/- instead of solution In my Bill My Credit card Blocking Date was[protected] and after Dollar Transaction date was 27, 28 and 29 May 08.I recieved many call for Pending Bill from your recovary team while Card Not used by Me. My Final Last Payment of RS 490/- to your collection Executive Mr.Naresh Raghav from BSA Logistics Ltd. and my payment reciept no.LDCCBSA- 3776. IN the above statement an ammout of Rs 11515 paid to UTHARIKHA CHENNI IN DATED 23-10-08 WAS ENTERED TWICE.
This may be corrected at your end.I can't understand why such thing happen to your bank only. Iam using CITI BANK CARD SINCE LAST 10YEARS, I DID NOT HAVE A SINGLE WRONG ENTRY.In your case it is second time and i got bitter experience with car loan also.Iam requesting you to look into the matter and do necessary corrections to your system, otherwise i have to surrender my card.YOUR 24 HOUR HELP LINE SERVICE ALSO VERY POOR, IT TOOK ONE HOUR TO LODGE A COMLAINT AGAINST THE DESCREPENCY.
Kind Attn.Mr.A Shailender Uday, This is in reference to your telecon on my cell at 21.00 hrs regarding payment of minimum amount against the credit card statement. I must put on record at the outset that your way of talk or i would say your tone of conversation was not customer friendly but was very rough. You were never prepared to listen to customer but were harping on your version just to cover up your accounting lapses for which you wanted me to suffer financially. This is not new to your bank but all international banks dealing with customer services speak like this. They never listen to customers but are always insisting on justifying the wrongs done by them or their staff. When the bank account is at fault and does not maintain the account properly or update it even then they put the entire blame on the customer and to harass them for no fault of theirs. When the bank is not prepared to listen to customer then why the customer should listen to you Mr. Uday. I was required to pay six EMIs for the purchase of mobile phone costing Rs.8379/- and I have paid all the six EMIS accordingly as per details given below. How you account for in your statements or reflect them, that is none of my business. Whether you generate the statement on 17th or do not generate it at all or generate as per your convenience, I am nobody to dictate you. I have completed honestly the transaction made through your bank by paying the six EMIS of Rs.1396/50 starting from 4th June to 4th November, 2008 and have nothing to add to what I have said. As regards payment of minimum amount, I will definitely make payment well before the due date but only the payment which is due to you and will not make payment of an amount which has already been made and not reflected by you in the statement. Thats your fault and not mine. After deducting Rs.1396/50 from the amount of Rs.3200/-, I will definitely pay for which you need not worry or remind me. I am fully aware of my commitment. A sum of Rs.1396/50 according to me stands paid but you have made it a disputed amount which will be paid only after I have got clarification from Head of Customer Services or the Corporate Office whom I am writing to them today and sending them the mails sent to you and will wait till the matter is sorted out at that leven and not at your level. This is regarding my credit card a/c with HSBC. I have cancelled my card in nov 07 with a zero outstanding. Further after 4 months i have recd the bill with some outstanding . Despite of my repitetive complain no solution has been provided.

The bank keep on sending me the bill with financial charges and all other damm charges.

Now again i have recd the statment. Pls advice i want to go for consumer forum.

Most respectfully I submit that I have been availing facility against credit card No. 4384 xxxx xxxx 0962 of HSBC Bank since Sep.2007 and making my account tranjections according to bank norms. But I regret to inform your goodself that I am being harassed by bank since Sep.2008 for the payment of Rs.10, 000/-. The payment was cleared by me on 05/09/2008 through cheque no.855791 dated 05/09/2008.( Enclosed documentary proofs)

Being given clearance by bank about this payment in written I am being harassed again and again by bank to clear this payment again.

I request your goodself to look into the matter personally and oblige.

i have received ur sms -"thank u for using your hdfc bank credit card for Rs. 1500/- in bharti land line @ 25 may 2009 at 2:38 pm.

while i have not done any payment on that date and account.
we made a payment of Rs 1232/-on 27 may in the same a/c as cash.
kindly do the needfull and inform.

my complaint is also registerd on phone at complaint no.[protected] dated 1/6/09.at 11 pm.

I am user of SBI Credit Card since last 4-5 years. At the time of issuing the card, executive of SBI card told, the card is life time free. Last year annual fee charged by department, but I talked with Ms. Jyoti on 26/09/08 and that charged reversed by her (also on additional card) and she told me it will not charge in future.
Recently I have received bill, in which annual fee charged.
Please give solution of the same.

Dear sir i confidently say this is mistake by your side, check all the request. why are you punish to you reliable customer ? because i dont know the person which mseb bill you are paying so why i request made for unknown person ? if i request made then submit proof.

Barclays bank Credit card — Non-Refund of excess credit payment

Dear Barclays Customer Care Officer,
Good Morning to you
I am a serving Defence Officer presently transfered at North East. While transfering the on line credit cards payment pertaining to Sep 10, I had eroneously transferred Rs.7345/- excess into my credit card account vide the transaction reference No. MBBR[protected] dated 28 Sep 10. Later I had spoken to Mr. Rakesh on telephone on 30 Sep 10 and requested him to refund the amount. The officer was very courteous and assured me the needful and gave a reference to my request as No.CAS 4240377 dated 30 Sep 10. After two weeks there was an enquiry from another officer of your bank and assured to transfer within four working days. Today it is 27 Oct 10, almost a month has been elasped since my eroneous transfer. Does your bank has the system of redressing the customers complaints?
Kindly refund the amonth on priority.
