I,BABY MELUSSERY retired from Indian Air Force w.e.f 31/8/2005 is holding my pension account at SBI Ojhar Branch. My Account No.is [protected] and PPO No.is 08/14/B/12882/2005.My basic pension at the time of retirement was Rs.3696/- PM.I have retired from IAF after serving 20 years in diploma stream trade (AIRFRAME FITTER) in the rank of SERGEANT.Iam eligible for a basic pension of Rs.7206/-PM+DA on upgradation of pension (One Rank One Pension) w.e.f.01/7/2009.Whereas I am receiving Rs.6800/- PM+DA which is equivalent of Non diploma stream Air warrior.I had already aproached the Branch several times and even submitted personal representation in this regard and ended up with no result.I humbly request to rectify this defect and credit the exact and entitled amount of pension with errears due thereof w.e.f from 1/7/2009 to the account of this grieving soldier 5

I was discharged from Indian navy as a petty officer on 30th April 1982. Leading seaman pension was sanctioned to me and the pension book handed over in the release centre itself. After noticing the discrepancy, matter had been discussed with the concerned while being in the release centre. Concerned officer have confirmed that the PENSION FOR PETTY OFFICER WOULD BE REVISED IN THE LATER STAGE. Some time during the year 1984 A representation towards revision of pension was made for which you have responded with some arrears and confirmed that recommendation initiated and forwarded to CDA for further action. From that time onwards I was under impression that the revision took place in its due course. The revision had not taken place till today. There was no sources for me to get revision confirmation. It was very shocking news for me to know after 28 years of leaving Indian Navy that the pension being paid to me is leading seaman’s only but not petty officers. This news came to me from my bankers i.e. SBI when a complaint lodged during this month for adjustment of resent pension.
I was promoted to Petty officer during the year 1981 with back date. I was discharged from Navy on 31st Dec 1981 with 4 months leave effective date as 30th April 1982. My eligibility for petty officers pension was already confirmed during discharge from NAVY.
I request your goodsevles to consider my case though very old and sort out the discrepancy to arrange adjustment of my PO pension from 1982 onwards as per eligibility. I am eagerly waiting for your kind reply and consideration.

According to 6th cpc my basic pension would have been fixed Rs. 4241/-p.m. as on 01 Jan 2006 and subsequently revised as per the circular 430 of 10 Mar 2010 to Rs. 5689/-p.m. plus DA as applicable w.e.f. 01 Jul 2009. However the PDA Canara bank is paying to gross pension of Rs. 5319/-P.M. instead of Rs. 8249/-P.M. In this concern I have approached to Manager Canara Bank Jaraukhand then he said he is not at all responsible for pension as the whole documents of pension have been forwarded to Regional Officer Dehradun. Now I have prepared my self to file a suit against the Canara bank Jaraukhand. My pension account No. is 1498.

Since then I was under impression that my pension has already been adjusted to PO from Leading seaman. Therefore this sort of complaint was not submitted till date. I used to make complaints to CDA Navy, my bankers and as well as to you after comparison of my pension along with other Petty officers of my branch who left the Navy on completion of 15 years. There was no reply from any of the organizations. Hence self visited CABS during the month of April 2010. They have demanded for present PPO which was never received by me and my problem remained unsolved .
I request your goodsevles to consider my case though complicated and sort out the discrepancy to arrange adjustment of my PO pension from 1982 onwards as per eligibility. My banker had clearly mentioned that instructions for pension adjustment should come from CDA Navy but not from record office.
Kindly take appropriate action help me to pullout from this distress agony as it is great loss in my life

I was retired on 10 Oct 2007 is invalid medical board. My disability pension 1163/- pm after 6th CPC Read 1629/- pm. i have 20% disability for asthma (Decease). but Ur circular said after 6th cpc 20% Converted become 50% Disability that round off. in Ur circular is said 50% disability pension is 1755/- pm. now i cant understand that how become my disability pension is 1629/- per month.
