Sub: Discrepancy in fixing pension.
S/B a/c no [protected] at SBI Barhan

Dear Sir,

1. I have retired from Indian Air Force in Sep 1995. I have been drawing my Defence Pension from your bank in saving bank a/c no [protected] standing at your branch. My Basic Pension was fixed at Rs. 3835/- p.m. from 1.1.1996.My PPO No is 08/14/03728/1995.
2. Reference is made to the Circular no 350, No Gts/Tech/0160-volXII Office of the PCDA(P) Allahabad dated 19.5.2006 and Table no 64 for Warrant Officer Pre 1-1-196 of Ministry of Defence letter bearing No 14(3)/2004-D(Pen/Sers) Vol-IIIdated 1.2.06 & No 14(3)/2004-D(Pen/Sers) Vol-V dated 2.5.06
3. As per the letters quoted in Para 2 above, the improvement in the pension of PBOR was sanctioned by the MOD.My pension was to be stepped up to Rs 4050/- p.m. with effect from 1.1.2006 as per table 64 for Warrant Officer put up more than 28 years of service in Group III.
4. This benefit was not given to me by your office. I request you to reconcile and do the needful. This has caused me a loss of Rs 14000/- approx from Jan 2006 to Aug 2008.
5. Further while fixing my pension as per the 6th. Cr P C, my pension has been fixed at Rs. 8668/- pm corresponding to last pension of Rs 3835/-..After getting the benefit of improvement in pension to Rs 4050/- my pension should be fixed at Rs 9153/- p.m. from 1.1.2006. You are requested to reconcile this as well and do the needful at the earliest. This discrepancy is also causing me a loss of Rs. 16000/- approx from Jan 2006 to Aug 2008.
