[Resolved]  Delhi Police — Illegal encroachment by Building Material Suppliers

Address:Delhi

With the casual approach of the Deptt, the public land is encroached upon by illegal building material suppliers ( Suppliers of Reta, Badarpur, Rodi, Cement, Bricks etc etc )
Two such glaring cases are as under :

1. Just beginning of Singlepur Market ( I[censored] one is coming from Pitam pura towards Single pur Market through Prem Bari Bridge), since last few days there are huge 10-12 piles of bricks + 2-3 piles of reta & badarpur. It has come up in last few days only. Supplier name is Balaji Building Supplier. It's just on the banks of the canal. It has resulted in trucks & rickshaws now permanently standing on the road thus not only leading to encroachment of public land but also traffic problem for people passing through Single Pur Market towards Pitam pura or in opposite direction.

2. In the service road of Shalimar Bagh parallel to ring road & just at the Ashok Vihar Crossing of Ring Road , there is a building material supplier. Initially they carried out with smaller operations but now they hv encroached a bigger land and that too at two locations, one at the crossing itself and just in between the open plot of Mr Khanna & building hving TV/Fridge shop. Second location is just a 100 meters ahead towards All Heaven Restaurant and just next to MCD Dhalos ( Garbage collection pont ) where alongwith the park boundry of AD block, this supplier stores the Reta, Badarpur, Bricks etc etc
This again has resulted in not only the encroachment of public land but also traffic problem for people passing through this service lane.

We don't think that this is not in knowledge of the Deptt and if it in knowledge of the Deptt & still if such encroachments hv come up then it imples vested interest of the eople working in Deptt and which is a part of corruption and is covered under PCA.
Hope immediate action wd be taken

In service road parallel to Ring Road from stretch of Richi Rich Restaurant, Shalimar Bagh towards Azadpur Ring Road flyover
& Just behind the Ashok Vihar Crossing Signal on red Light ( Which is infact Shalimar Bagh service Road )
There is a motor mechanic who is sitting there and behind that there is a vacant plot of Mr Khanna
For last couple of weeks the service road is encroached by building material suppliers and now they store Bricks, Reta, Badarpur on the service road itself
This is just beginning of this illegal building material supplier activities and an action to remove this encroachment needs to be taken
But isn't it surprising that Traffice Police people also shares the same place when they relax as they also sit alongwith these illegal vendors
It's a pity that our Executory is not doing their jobs properly resulting in so much of problems for public in general and later on with Judiciary, with so much of cases coming up to them because Executory fails to do their job properly
No action is taken in last 6 months & resulting in this encroachment has been increasing & now is at two locations as another location is added alongwith the MCD Garbage Collection point ( Dhalos) which is also on the same service road 7 approx 100 metres ahead of the original location
It's appears to be a case of corruption as Deptt is not acting at their own & even after they are complained about the same
Appears to be some vested interest
