Dish TV — change a package from platinum to Gold

Sir I have Dish Tv connection and my VC no. is [protected]. I would like change my pack from platinum to gold what is exact procedure for this? will you mind to tell me?

Dish TV — Misinformed about charges and package

I have taken a Dish TV DTH connection in July 2010. While taking the connection I was told that I only had the option of opting for HD set top box and a platinum pack where I would receive all channels including all HD channels for an additional charge of Rs.125 over and above my platinum pack subscription. I was informed by the Dish TV sales person that I would be getting all HD channels once they are launched. Now when they have launched the HD channels we are told that we will not be receiving any of these channels except the basic HD channels of Zee TV HD. And that if I want to avail of the channels I will have to pay additional Rs.100 inclusive of all taxes. This is out right cheating as the call centers claim that they are not aware of what the sales person has committed. My VC number is [protected]. I have already paid them 1 years subscription in advance and now when I am asking for a refund they are refusing to provide with a refund of the rest of the subscription amount. Please help as we as consumers are at the receiving end always once we have purchased a particular product or service.

Dish TV — Non attending of complaint VC no. 01505526891

I have two dish tv connections in my home, but I am facing problem on my VC no. [protected]. About 7 days back, my set up box stopped working. We made a complaint to local dealer in Chandigarh but no technician came to attend the same. Local dealer is SMART SERVICES #6, SEC 16 A CHANDIGARH. Then we made a complaint to your toll free no. After that technician came and said that your set up box is to be taken to shop and repaired. He came back after 2 days and said that it can not be repaired, it has to be replaced or you should take new connection. As I have taken AMC for both set up boxes, then pl clarify why it should not be repaired free of cost. Inspite of that we agreed to pay for the same. Then after few days the person came and replaced the set up box and charged us Rs. 400/-. But this set up box is also not working. This has made us to agony, as we are not able to watch world cup matches and other important news / channels.

I made a complaint no. 55997408 on 19th March, and I was assured by your person named 'Abid' that the complaint will be resolved within next 24 hours, but today is 22nd March and we are still being harrassed from your end.

Under the above circumstances, I feet that I should make a complaint in consumer court for harrassment.

We are your regular customers since last 3 years, but the attitude of your dealer in Chandigarh is not appriciab le.

I would like some senior person to intervene in the matter. I would also request you to extend the charges of 7 days .

Hope that my problem is solved

Dish TV — Promotional True HD Connection request not attend to

On 14th March 2011, I purchased a SAMSUNG Led and got a voucher which entitles me to get DISHTV True HD installed at a nominal rate of 750/-
In spite of completing all the steps mentioned and giving my details to customer care, no action has been taken till date.

I was assured that my new True HD connection will be installed
with 72 hours but all turned-up to be a hoax played on me. Company is
simply wasting so much money on sales promotion if they are not true
to their words.

My futile approach to call centers got me hollow assurance every-time.
and a complain no 55706333 dated 14th Feb. 2011 which was never attended to.

I am in a great problem.I am Bangladeshi national. I have purchased one Dish Tv from india. But I am not getting any pay channel here. although I can watch all free channel . I have re-charged INR 360/= on 29thmar'11 to watch pay channel. But still I did not get the line. All time its showing signal not found or re-charge your account. What should I do now?

I registered a complaint with Dish Tv for "301: Signal not found" problem. Everyday I call their customer care number for the service, they promise to provide the service within 24 hours. Their local service agent [[protected]] are not interested to pick up the phone. After five days also, I am getting the same promise from their customer care, but didn't get the service. I am a victim of their poor service. What I can do for this as I am very much harrased by their servce.
