[Resolved]  Dish TV — False Commitment from dish tv customer care department

Dear Sir/Madam my Name is Shiv Seth and I am a owner of Dish TV and I have two Dish TV connections. One is my old connection-VC no-[protected] and I’ve recently purchased new connection on 4th June 2010 VC no-[protected] under the “Box Free Offer” Scheme and received subscription for 100 days, which is going to expire on 4th September 2010 and I was told by customer care department of dish tv that I can convert this new connection (by sending an email to customer care department) into multi - connection i:e child connection VC no-[protected] as I want to keep my old connection as parent connection- VC no-[protected] .But with deep regret I want to say that I am being cheated by your customer care department as they are saying different story now that its not possible to convert your new connection into multi-connection but while purchasing the new connection they told me u can convert it into multiconnection at later stages ,so it is very unethical practice from your customer care department, that to sell your products you give them false commitments and thus cheat your customers and I never expected this from company like yours and after being loyal customer for more than 7 yrs ive been treated like this.
So I kindly request you to convert my new connection into child connection VC no-[protected] and keep my old connection as parent connection- VC no-[protected] . I hope you will do the needful ASAP.

Dish TV — False Commitment

Dear All,

I'm the customer of dist tv from last 1 & 1/2 yr

Last yr i recharge my account online for 1 yr with amount of Rs.3240/-
and by mistake i pay 2 times i.e. Rs.6480/-
but separatly my credit card shown 2 transactions on this account

so i called customer care on same day so they reply that we cant erfund your ammount but we can do one thing we can recharge your account after one yr with same amount till time your money will be deposited in my account
and after 1 yr i.e. now on 9th May, 09
i called customer care number but guess what???

there is no manual responce
Ahhhh which was erritating and when i called for recharge & told them this story then they said sorry sir
we dont have such service with us
You need to recharge again
and i was shocked

then my question is what about my money Rs.3240/-

if any one from Dist TV read this then plz reply
i'm fed up with such false commitment
in todays world customer service is the only thing which will make Brand name
and if Dist TV dont know this, then its their bad luck

infact i mailed them also but till time i didnt received any call from them

any way
i dont wann waist much time in this
but only thing is
i just wanted to make aware ppl who're using Dish TV

My name is Shoaib I got a sms from dish tv that if I would recharge for 2 months I would get the third month subcription for free.

Yesterday was 3rd of april 2013 and as per the commitment from dish tv the next recharge date should be 2nd of july however as the per

the records my next recharge date is 31st of may 2013.
I was asked to pay 770 rupees as my monthly subscription is 385 Rupees when I asked for the refund they mentioned they never refund the money.


I feel that i have been cheated by Dish tv they made the false commitment which they dint fullfill.


secondly I bought this HD connection to see the hd channels after 2 hours from installation they hd channels were gone. Within 24 hours of reinstallation I called and they mentioned that its an alignemnt issue and I would have to pay more than 200 rupees for the technician visit.


Now again there is an issue as within 24 hours of installation they are asking me to pay again for the services which never really worked at first go.

and they say they cant help me unless I pay technician visit charges which is more than 200 rupees.


The issue with this one is that even if I pay those technician visit charges there no assurance that I wont have any issues, it can move with air anytime.

so if I would have the same issue 2 times a month then I am paying more than 400 rupees as technician charges over and above my monthly

subcription charges. I think this is pretty unfair but they say this is there policy but I think this is their policy to make earnings.


Please help me out with this ASAP.
