[Resolved]  Dish TV — Not getting refund of security deposit

I had sent an application to surrender my Dish TV connection on 15th March 2011. I received a reply from that mentioning that your email has been forwarded to concern department & you get response with in 45 days.
I regularly follow up with them over email & phone but they are not responding me. Not giving any reply.

I have security deposit receipt with me. Can I know how I can take action on the company. On this website I am posting this same complaint on 2nd time. I am expecting some response on my complaint posting.

Dish TV — Not refunding security deposit

I had Taken DISH TV connection on : 1/2/2006
VC Number: [protected]


They have written in the receipt of security deposit that :

“A sum of Rs 1590 towards interst free refundable security deposit refundable after three years from the date of activation subject to return of digital decoder SL NO[protected]B59032910 in proper working condition”

but now they are not refunding the security amount: 1590

Dish tv helpline misguided me a lot and wasted my time too by diverting me to dealers.

This way dish tv harrashed me a lot.

Finally Dish TV replied me that a company policy is changed and you will not get refund. In fact being a customer there is no intimation from dist tv regarding this change in policy

Dear Sir,
Thanks for your guidance. I already did all these things and received an complaint number. Even after series of reminder emails to them & frequent calls to customer care I have not receiving proper response from the. I like to pull DISK TV in consumer court. Kindly guide how to do that.
