[Resolved]  DishTV — cheating in recharge

I am having a dishtv connection having vc no [protected]. I had a gold card recharge with cnbc ala carte package which was valid upto 29.10.09. Since during my last recharge dishtv deducted a sum of rs 20/ as fine, I thought that I should recharge my account before the expiry ie 29.10.09. One mr Sushil was on the phone line. I asked him that if I want to top up my recharge with a rs 500 gold card where free ala carte of rs 100 was availble , whether I will get the extention from 30.10.09 onwards or validity of my early period will be deducted? I was told that I will get all the benifits which I will get if I recharge on 29.10.09. Then I gave him the recharge voucher details and told him to include the cnbc package from my free alacarte account. I was given the transaction no which is IGR 45059730. I was also told that my main package as well as the alacarte package had been activated. the alacarte package was activated from my free rechrge account. Thereafter I found from my dish tv space that validity of my package had been increased to 9.1.2010. When calculated I found this to be okay. however to my surprise during the month of december I found that validity of my package had been reduced to 25.12.09. I have made several calls to customercare of dishtv and their reply has never been satisfactory. There after I told them to give all the replies by e mail so that I have all the recorded replies. They in their last email have said that I had not activated my alacarte package on 14.10.09 when the main package was recharged. This is nothing but a bluff from their side. A consumer far away from dishtv office can not know what their representative have noted. I feel that their representative receive a part of the commission they save for dish tv frm the free ala carte by not noting down the correct information. in the email I was also informed that my initial package had expired on 23.10.09 where as validity of my package was upto 29.10.09. on 23.10.09 they activated my alacarte package and deducted that amount from my main package and not from the free alacarte which was available even on that day as per the company's policy. I just fail to understand why the company wants to cheat it's customer the way they have been doing. Kindly submit this complaint before an appropriate legal authority so that action can be taken against dishtv for cheating.
