[Resolved] DishTV — Alignment and Customer Care
Please let me inform you that the dish Tv customer care service is the
worst i have ever experienced.
I bought the setup box and got it installed. Well once it is about
paying 3000 roupies, everybody is here and everybody answers and
everybody speaks correct english.
Three months later, i have to renew my susbcription, for that i buy a
card, and send the details by sms. Result: nothing, still no renewal.
I call the customer care and give the renew card number.
Promise: will be done as soon as possible. 48 hours.
Result: i wait for 48 hours, ( for which i paid, means that is 48
hours of non service out of 30 days i paid)
After 48 hours: Hindi channels only activated, where are the main
channels i subscribed for??? no idea.
Call the customer care again:
Reason: sorry madame, when you renew the settings of your package
change and go back to the basic package.
Can anybody explain to me why i need to mention in the first contact
that i need the enhanced package, and use the enhanced packahe for 3
months, then have to wait 4 days to get the same package renewed???? i
mean isnt it obvious that i want the same package ????
Promise: it will be reactivated after 48 hours.
Result: activated after 48 hours ( until now 4 days out of 30 that are
lost and of course nobody cares)
BUT, it seems the customer care center enjoys receiving phone calls
from me because i still didnt receive all the channels, and half of
the english channels ( HBO, Z studio, MGM, NDTV 24, Reality TV,
ESPN, CNN, BBC, Zee Sport ...and more) are not working.301 signal not
What should i do??? i dont speak hindi, i'm a foreigner, i paid for
the enhaced package only to watch 20 english channel ou of hundreds of
available channels. But now, for some mysterious reasons, someone from
Dish TV just didnt think the same and decided to give me only half of
Because i believe in the customer care... i decided to wait and see
what will happen if i dont call, maybe after another 48 hours it will
5 days later, during which i didnt use what i paid for to the fullest,
i decide to call again the customer care.
1: the guy doesnt speak english correctly.
2: he asked about infos that he should already have and should
retrieve automatically once i give the VC N° ( what is your
name??????? and your phone number???????????)
3: i explain the problem in the simpliest and logical words: I get the
message " signal not found" for SOME not ALL channels. The person on
the phone seemed more anxious about following the procedure than
thinking logically about the problem and asks me to check if all the
wires are connected. How can i get any channel at all if the wires
were not connected????
Anyway, i followed some steps he told me about and ended up erasing
all my settings, and all my channels following his directions. He
also was not ashamed to tell me that he couldnt help me and that i
just have to note down the complaint number. I refused and asked to
speak to someone else. If he cannot help me, what should i do then??
no reply. and when i mentionned that now i receive the message " 303
not installed" guess what ?? he simply HUNG UP !!!
To sum up,
2 + 2 + 5 + infinite = 9 days and still counting of paid non service.
A customer care that doesnt care!!!
Question: What now ???
PS: that was the email i sent two weeks ago, and the problem is still here. I call the customer care every day and they have not been able to send someone yet.
