[Resolved]  DishTV — Alignment and Customer Care

Hi,

Please let me inform you that the dish Tv customer care service is the
worst i have ever experienced.
I bought the setup box and got it installed. Well once it is about
paying 3000 roupies, everybody is here and everybody answers and
everybody speaks correct english.
Three months later, i have to renew my susbcription, for that i buy a
card, and send the details by sms. Result: nothing, still no renewal.
I call the customer care and give the renew card number.
Promise: will be done as soon as possible. 48 hours.
Result: i wait for 48 hours, ( for which i paid, means that is 48
hours of non service out of 30 days i paid)
After 48 hours: Hindi channels only activated, where are the main
channels i subscribed for??? no idea.
Call the customer care again:
Reason: sorry madame, when you renew the settings of your package
change and go back to the basic package.
Can anybody explain to me why i need to mention in the first contact
that i need the enhanced package, and use the enhanced packahe for 3
months, then have to wait 4 days to get the same package renewed???? i
mean isnt it obvious that i want the same package ????
Promise: it will be reactivated after 48 hours.
Result: activated after 48 hours ( until now 4 days out of 30 that are
lost and of course nobody cares)
BUT, it seems the customer care center enjoys receiving phone calls
from me because i still didnt receive all the channels, and half of
the english channels ( HBO, Z studio, MGM, NDTV 24, Reality TV,
ESPN, CNN, BBC, Zee Sport ...and more) are not working.301 signal not
found.
What should i do??? i dont speak hindi, i'm a foreigner, i paid for
the enhaced package only to watch 20 english channel ou of hundreds of
available channels. But now, for some mysterious reasons, someone from
Dish TV just didnt think the same and decided to give me only half of
them.
Because i believe in the customer care... i decided to wait and see
what will happen if i dont call, maybe after another 48 hours it will
be ok.
5 days later, during which i didnt use what i paid for to the fullest,
i decide to call again the customer care.
1: the guy doesnt speak english correctly.
2: he asked about infos that he should already have and should
retrieve automatically once i give the VC N° ( what is your
name??????? and your phone number???????????)
3: i explain the problem in the simpliest and logical words: I get the
message " signal not found" for SOME not ALL channels. The person on
the phone seemed more anxious about following the procedure than
thinking logically about the problem and asks me to check if all the
wires are connected. How can i get any channel at all if the wires
were not connected????
Anyway, i followed some steps he told me about and ended up erasing
all my settings, and all my channels following his directions. He
also was not ashamed to tell me that he couldnt help me and that i
just have to note down the complaint number. I refused and asked to
speak to someone else. If he cannot help me, what should i do then??
no reply. and when i mentionned that now i receive the message " 303
not installed" guess what ?? he simply HUNG UP !!!
To sum up,
2 + 2 + 5 + infinite = 9 days and still counting of paid non service.
A customer care that doesnt care!!!

Question: What now ???

PS: that was the email i sent two weeks ago, and the problem is still here. I call the customer care every day and they have not been able to send someone yet.

Dish TV — Alignment and not able to view channels

Even after repeated calls my dish antena allignment has not been done and now these people are claiming that you need to buy another antena and DISH TV does not give any guarantee.
i have already paid Rs.262 for welcome package for one month before 38 hours, but still i can't see any channel on my tv. what's wrong with dish tv. sometimes they recharge in two hours and sometimes in infinite. i want a reply back and not a phone call.

DishTV — we have installed dishtv just before 4 hours we are not receiving some channels

we have installed dishtv on 22/10/2008 at 4'o clock . there was a scheme of free pay channels for 1 year we are not recieving the channels.
I m not receiving much of the channels and i have complained against this problem to the Bhopal customer care services but they have not given the proper response to us. please take some strick action immediately.

It is a great shock about the service that you been provided being one of the oldest customer of Dish TV since 2007 .I have lodged my complain for non-activated the paid chennel even having paid payment of Rs.1000.00 on 21.01.2009 agaigst my smart card no.[protected] through your athorized dealer 'TAKE ONE TELEVISION & TECHNOLOGIES(P) LTD, SRINAGAR, KASHMIR.Even after repited information to the concern dealer regarding non-activated the paid chennel, but dealer did not take any necessary action.Still now waiting to get service activated.

I have DISH TV mini plan.
I want to change plan & take DISH TV MAXI PLAN.
I am Somjit from Bangalore. We had taken dish TV connection on 7th April 2009. On day of installation the person who had come for connection took activation card worth Rs 600 & an amount of Rs 300 and said that they would positively activate our connection within 7 days but already 9 days have passed no activation has been done and as a result of this we are unable to get dish TV services. We have tried to contact dish TV, Bangalore office, but either phone is switched off/busy or they dont seem to pick up the phone(Phone.No[protected], +[protected], [protected]).Such irresponsible attitude of the dish TV person in Bangalore is really undesirable and condemned and from perspective of customer its a pure case of cheating/high level of irresponsibility, that even after paying the required amount we are debarred of services.I want some serious steps taken against such callous and irresponsible persons and restoration of our cable services at the earliest.

i anil agarwal wanted to u inform that dishtv customer care service is the worst service i had experienced, the customer care officer of dishtv talks in a very bad language, i had made a complaint regarding this to head sanjay kumar but i dont get a response so i request u to take an actoin against him, vc no. Dish TV — Charging for Alignment of Channels

Hi,

I would like to inform you that before my subscription was renewed(recharged for continuation of service) i got a call from one of the Customer care executive and at that time i told him that some of my channels are not coming clear and please send some one (Engineer) then he said that it will be done only when you will recharge the same. But he didn't told me that the engineer will charge Rs 150 for visiting and doing the alignment of channels and i was also not aware because they have never charged us earlier for alignment If it would have been told to me at that moment I would have not recharged and would have taken subscription of some other service provider.

I think the alignment of channels should be free of cost because we are paying for the channels and it is the responsibility of the service provider that all channels should be tuned properly for clear reception.

They have started cheating the customers and making money out of it . After several request thru mail and calls to them that two channels are not coming clear please do the alignment of the channels they are rigid and are not ready to do the same free of cost and when i told them that i will take this matter forward they are saying that go do what ever you want.

It's my request that please take a strict action against them and make them under that Alignment of channels should be done free of cost and they should behave properly with the customer.

I am from Calicut, Kerala.
We have been recharging on time. But every month we end up calling the contact person a hundred times to view any channel. And the worst now is that he's neither attending any call nor taking up the complaint we have reported at his office. He has already collected the amount this time also. We would atleast wish to get back our money and get rid of this nuisance at the earliest. This is a highly irresponsible customer service.

i have already recharge for Rs200/-, the said a/c on 05June, before the renewal date of 07June. but most of the channels for me stopped veiwing on 07June, without any valid reason.
There is no response from customer care. All their tele nos are not working. Also No response to SMS.
The next renewal date also showing wrongly.
Very poor and hopeless service.Looks, no body is responsible at their end.
will they find the time for correction and reply.

i have recharge on 4 th june 2009 for one year with platinum 1 pack but now there is only few channels shown out of so many channels which i was selected...please find some solution to this...

i feel sorry for dish TV as its customer care department is not supporting its image. Customer care superviser lady, her name was divya, she behave as if she there to give decision. if i am facing a problem only customer care person will be approached to sort that out.

i did mistake in puting v c number.i put vc no. [protected] instead of [protected] and recharged the account with Rs. 500.00. Five hundred is not a small amount, so i called customer care and told the problem. but instead of helping me out to sort the problem she said i can not do anything about it because its a recharge free coupon, you have to recharge it again.

i know its my mistake to put wrong vc no. but if i am telling the a/c where i have wrongly credited, can't she transfer that.

it is not going to accepted to the customer for long and that too when there is so much of competition in themarket.

My vc no is [protected] I've renewed platinium package and debited Rs3900.00 fm my credit card but none of de channels hv started, i was told to keep setbox on 999, next keep it on pogo and then 550, all connexs are ok as the promo channel 999 is working and rest all disappeared fm screen, plz...can someone help !!!
