Hi,
I purchased dishtv true HD STB from dishtv customer care by calling on a toll free number. I booked and and pre paid the amound via IVR system. Later on dishtv installation engineer contacted me for installation and told me your society does not support HD STB. So please book new STB without HD. I did the same I ask Customer care to change my true HD to normal without HD connection. They told me for this I have to buy new STB without HD and drop a mail to customer care for refund for true HD. I did the same. I got a mail from dish tv that they have processed my refund and it should be reflect in your account within 5-7 working days.
this whole thing was happen on 12th Aug 2013, today is 20th Sept. Means more than one month has passed and I am still waiting for refund. I contacted many times to dishtv customer care for this. but didnt get any satisfactory reply from their side.
for this whole process they provide me one reference number which can be used to track my request. I am providing it here so that Consumer court/forum can cross check the whole incident.
my request number is 10159394, for reversal of payment.
