[Resolved]  DLF New Town Heights Gurgaon — Extornist DLF

DLF Started Selling New Town Heights Gurgaon through agents across the country instead of advertizing it on their website . They called in Pre Launch. They did sell it through agents starting february. When the money was taken by wire transfer by them, they advertized this sale in the Web site by March middle and Increase the price by 20% with Some thing Called Preferential Location charges. This was universally applied to all the Big appartments.

Later the Agents in Collusion with DLF assigned appartment numbers to all the gullible persons who has paid up money in the prelaunch and imposed this 20% fee on them. Either you take the appartment or we will keep your earnest deposit.

A clear case of blackmail, deceit and extortion. Coming of top of it, A rude and arrogant person lying thorough his teeth sits as Customer Care GM. He forgets conveniently that DLF did not even advertize this sale till the middle of March. It did not accept direct communication through individuals through the middle of march and then claimed the agents are cheaters, not them.

Result: All the customers who are trapped are feeling cheated and let down by this appartement Sale by DLF. They cant withdraw their money since allotments have been done in collusion with agents and Customers have no way out.

After reading all the complaints, I am now thinking of reconsidering my decision to buy flat at 'DLF Lake Summit' at Gachibowli, Hyderabad. The PLC charges are very high and am scared that after few payments, they may levy those charges citing structural changes in their construction plan..

If someone has any thoughts on 'DLF lake summit', please share them.. Is it worth making an investment there..or look at other builders such as Ramky towers...

I really get fully upset after seeing all these blogs against DLF. I have already booked apartment in DLF Bangalore couple of months ago. Please let me know the status of you guys how you people are handlign this tough situation. Not sure I should continue or I should stop.
Received letter from HDFC that DLF has returned Rs. 3 lakhs as prepayment to HDFC (I had taken downpayment plan). Hence, they have honoured their commitment of complensation. Though, I have not received any letter from DLF detailing how the amount was calculated and this was promised by DLF.

Visited the site of DLF and I can see pics of excavation.

(I live in Pune, hence I can't verify physically. But I am planning to visit Gurgaon within a month or two and will go and see the excavation)
I just browsed the site more and apartment is minimum 1845 sq feet whereas earlier it was 1760 sq feet. So, increasing the area by 5% commitment is also honoured.
i think DLF is only builder in India who have reduced the price/Refunding booking amount. don't think always negative things.
DLF is a very very unprofessional company. I am a down payment category customer and they have send me the refund minus the last installment which means that i cannot sell the house until i get the papers released ! Also there is not detail on how the calculation has been made on additional payment rebates...what a horrible company to be involved with. Is there a consumer complaint court in India ?
I feel pained when I read grievances from such customers about they being cheated, extorted etc. etc. but the point paramount here is, it is only because of customers like these who without any proper documentation get into the trap of making a quick money and try to beat the queue end up investing in projects only to repent later the list goes endless specially in gurgaon to name a few biggies Vatika india next, Unitech (umpteen number of their projects in gurgaon) they all are currently riding the new found euphoria amongst the guys ready with their checks just to get their hands on anything which comes through all I can say for all enthusiasts out there is 1. Insist on copy of all the clearances required to build the townships a complete must. 2. Ask for project financing document from atleast one govt bank (they make sure that the builder has the financial strength and the requisite approvals) 3. Please avoid the down payment option you can anyways earn 10% on that amt if you keep it in bank and finally bank on YOUR gut feel and not what an illiterate property dealer might tell you (remember they have got nothing to loose... you have)

i hav already filed a Crimnal Case against DLF as they have cheated me in crores after they signed up a M.O.U with my firm NTI for consolidating 680 acres of land in Ludhiana & THEN when i had completed my part of the MOU by delivering them more than 300 acres one week before the MOU expired, they very conveniently backed out of the project by saying that it was no longer viable to them to go ahead as Badal Govt had imposed a lot of charges so all the loss was mine! poonam mehra...
I have invested money for buying a flat through DLF in Gurgaon but later due to no work process i decided to quit it. I had seen its exit option on its officila website. So i opted for its exit option. For this i have sent many letters to DLF office. But i am not getting any response. I feel it that company is not doing justice with their customers. As an investor i am feeling that my money has been blocked in DLF investment. Right now i am thinking that i have to knock the door of court only. If any other investor has opted for this exit option then please inform me that what he getting response from DLF.

In reality there is no exit route. If you have paid the money, all you can expect is for DLF to deliver the property to you with a reasonable time delay. This is because the agreement you signed with them is one-sided and favors them mostly.Now don't say that you did not know this before.

All I can say to those who invested in DLF's and other builder's projects is that you deserve every bit of the ill treatment you are getting. Because you failed to do the basic groundwork o[censored]nderstanding what investing is really about. It is definitely not about making a fast buck - that is called a scam.By the way, when did we start considering a home as an investment!

My sympathies to those who put in their monies to buy a home to live in. You have every right to pull the developer to court or even pull them down into the streets and beat the daylights out of them for cheating you of one of your basic rights - a home.

Do not expect the government to do anything soon. Most of the folks there are sleeping in with these unscrupulous developers. And not to mention the generations that will be ruined by our judiciary by making them run around from pillar to post in case you choose to file a case.

I am really sorry to say that Mr. Bhushan Uppal's Uppal Group just making money by cheating and grabing money from me like honest people. I had booked a flat with personal loan of 2. 5 lacs Rs and for that I am paying 3.75 lacs Rs to Bank. After 15 days my father got Heart attack and I cancel my booking. They promised to return the money within 7 days but it is 17 months over, they are not return my money, every 15 days interval they just give us false comitment. Now they are telling... your money is forefeited. For me like poor people 3.75 lacs is very high amount. Uppal group could easily able to return the same. Me like 100 of people are daily cheated by Uppal group. Did Mr. manish or Mr. Bhushan knows this? Why they are spoiling their good image by cheating me like people. This is look like story but this is fact.

Dear All,
I only have problem for PLC alloted to my flats, otherwise there is no issue with DLF. PLC is alloted to me without my consent which is as imposing on me.
