[Resolved] Dot Cabs — Wrong route and cheating | |||
Today (Oct 19, 2010) DC 509 (AP 09 TV 6870) Tata Indica started from Dattu Nagar, Hyderabad to Vijayanagar Colony, Masab tank, Hyderabad at sharp 6:00 PM. This is a distance of 15 or 16 KM. Lady passenger in the cab was new to Hyderabad city. She was taken through a wrong route and meter showed 28KM, which is 12 km more than the actual distance. Even Shamshabad Airport to vijayanagar colony is just 26 KM. Driver demanded Rs330/-. upon contacting 24242424 for help. Person in-charge asked us to pay Rs350/- which more than what driver is asking. This is nothing short of robbery/cheating. Was this information helpful? | |||

I engaged a dot cab car for going from Meerpet to Miyapur on 27/07/2011 under booking No. 000345. The driver of dot cab vehicle AP09TV3946 with DC No. 452 charged Rs. 721.00 stating that the distance travelled is 46 KM. While returning in the save day evening by Dot cab vehicle No. AP12TV0238 with DC 942 between the same points drop and picup points, the driver charged Rs. 650.00 stating that the car travelled a distance of 40 KM under booking No. B0001398. How there can be 6 KM variation with in two points, without even one way trafic roads in between. It clearly shows that the earlier driver cheated and taken away extra money. It is most unfortunate, tha Dot cabs drivers donot give written bills or we get charges by mobile. It is hereby causioned general public be aware of these cabs who loot you wihtout giving you any receipt!. The Dot cabs management must insist the driver to get the satisfactory service report from the customer after the bill was paid.
