[Resolved]  Double door Refrigerator — Glass heater problem

My friend Mr. Abhimanyu Nayak residing at Qr. No, 13-L4, Jamuna Road Tinplate, Golmuri P.O., Jamshedpur 831003 Mobile No. [protected] had a problem with his refrigerator and on complaint technician came and reported problem with glass heater, and promised to set right the problem. He made repeated visits but did not do anything worthwile. On[protected] he was asking for repair charges as Rs.800/- and on[protected] enhanced the repair charge to Rs.1000/- and on his last visit your serviceman mentioned about Rs.1500/- as the possible repair charge. Though he is prepaired to pay the genuine charges that may be levied, his refrigerator has not been attended to by your service man till date.
This is causing him tremendous problem as he has some costly medicines for his family which have to be kept refrigerated and he is depended on his neighbours for the same. Please send some responsible serviceman and arrange to repair his refrigerator on a most urgent basis.

Double door Refrigerator — Very Negligent service center

My Double door refrigerator's handle was broken in the month of August 2008. I am at Vizianagaram (AP) and our authorised Samsung Service Center is at Srikakulam. I have been calling them since then once in every week or 10 days. Each time I call, a new person lifts the phone and promptly asks me all the details of my fridge, my address, contact number etc. etc., and says that he/she will immediately send somebody to attend. But nobody turns out. Once a man turned up but did nothing. I called to his personal phone but it was somebody elses number. After getting vexed with the indifferent behaviour of your call center people I thought I should let you (the company) know about it and hence this complaint. If this is the behaviour of the Service center, no customer will be happy to go for a Samsung product I will be extremely happy if you can look into the matter and do the needful. The details of our fridge are given below:

Double door Refrigerator — not providing of receipt

I had booked my complaint for not functioning of my refrigerator and I had given a service call No.499547 on 02.10.09. In response, a technician from the company attended and replaced a timer box attached to my refrigerator. I had paid him Rs.350 as service charges and Rs.800 as cost of the timer box. I had asked him to provide me a receipt of the same. He told me that I will get a receipt within a few days through courier or by post. Till date, I have not received any receipt from the godrej customercare service centre. On repeated reminders to customercare services, I had always been told that I will get the receipts very soon, but till date I have not yet received any receipt from the customer service centre. I don't know how long time it will take to provide me the receipt.
Please look into the matter.

Double door Refrigerator — request for filter change

Dear Sir

This is with regard to a service complaint registered at the customer care help line no and the BP no given is [protected]. The nature of complaint is a request for a filter replacement as the indicated on the refrigerator.

The complaint is pending since April 14th 2010 and subsequent reminders have been given to the call center.

After a couple of reminders a Mr Khan did visit us and we requested him to do the needful. The gentleman left with assurances that it would be done the next day. Subsequently another representative did give a courtesy call assuring us he would come soon but have to still hear from him.

This is the state of affairs and am extremely disappointed with the quality of service offered by Samsung and the impression I have gathered would hesitate to ever buy a Samsung product ever again.

As a well wisher I would like to emphasize that to date I have been a very loyal Samsung customer be it LCD Teivision or other electronics and purchased several of your products which are extremely reliable and durable but this is the first time that I have ever had a service requirement and this experience has indeed left a bitter taste.

I am not sure if this complaint of ours would fall on deaf ears but anyways thought it worthwhile to let go of my frustration.
