[Resolved]  Dsc Hyundai — Non receipt of RC book - still pending

Address:Tamil Nadu

You had shown the RC book on Thursday(10/02/11).

Inspite of repeated reminders and even after mentioning in the mail, you have mentioned as 'HDFC bank' and not as 'HDFC Ltd'.

When called you answer casually that - "We have been asking for RC book for a long time, hence you had come and shown the same. The change of name is just an internal process". And you had told that the RC book will be delivered the next day(11/02/11).

Till now no call from your end.

Tell me, Mr.Jayachandran... are you running a company or something else...there is not even a drop of professionalism.

Is this the way you answer a customer?

The make of the car was mentioned in the RC book as August 2010 which is okay as we had got the vehicle on October 2010. But the tax part mentions as 08/02/2011, which means you have processed this only on the day when you had taken the car.

Till this day you have been telling stories... this clearly shows that you have lost the document,

If you had lost something why can't you be honest and tell the customer. Only when the issue was raised to the highest level, you had done your work. Only the last week you had done some work. Think yourself as how many calls you had made only last week. Before that you don't even pick up the call. You cannot run away from your responsibility. Absolutely no accountability from your end.

The second service is supposed to be made on reaching 9,000 kms mark, forget the duration in months. Now because of the non receipt of the RC book, it has just run 3,000 kms. If anything happens before 9,000 kms and after the 2nd service, what is the service you will do.

Now, let us know when we will get the RC book. Give us a date and abide by that.

Lastly, I will not recommend anyone to buy from "DSC Hyundai" eventhough I am driving a good car.

Regards
PRadeep

Dear Jayachandran

One Mr.Karthik had taken the car to the RTO by 12pm and returned the vehicle by around 2.50pm.

Now I hope all your documents are in place. Let us know when we will receive the RC.

The car has run 22kms. As promised for the reimbursement how do you intend to pay?

I don't understand as to what went wrong in the data error. You want the chassis trace again. This clearly shows that you have misplaced the documents.

You don't write a mail about non responding to a call. It is you who doesn't pick up the call. Even when we leave a message you do not respond. Only when the issue is escalated to the highest level you immediately respond. Such is the care you have for the customers.

When I called Mr.Srinivasan in the evening he had told that he want to take the car physically to the RTO office to take the chassis trace. He had told that the RTO people will not believe if we bring only the chassis trace.

When we told that we will come to the RTO office or send someone you told that that won't be necessary. Even earlier when we said that we will get the RC book directly, you told that you yourself will organise. Something fishy is really happening.

Mr.Srinivasan told that he will give a call today morning and that he will send a driver to pick the vehicle. I had told him that I will give on two conditions which he had agreed.

1) You have to bear the petrol expense.
2) The scratches, dents whatever there in the car at present to be marked along-with the intensity of the same (not much present although) and given to us.

Waiting for the call.

Dear Sir

With regard to your RC book , our RTO person Mr.Srinivasan spoke to you this morning and you had given approval to take the chasis trace as there was a data error. We were trying to contact you from afternoon, but you did not respond to the call.

Please give us an appointment to avoid further delay on the RC.

I do not understand what really the problem is.

Forget solving the problem... why don't you guys atleast reply. Is this the way you treat a customer by keeping them in darkness, as to what really the problem is.

I thought that the dealer's customer service is bad, the company's customer service is even worse.

If there is no response after this, I will have to go the legal way.

The choice is yours - either to respond or keeeeeeeep mum.....

Dear Sivakumar

This problem is not solved yet.

There was no action from your end. So as a last try, we called your dealer DSC Hyundai and spoke with the Manager Mr.Jayachandran. He had assured that the RC book would be given latest by today morning. There was no call from them. He doesn't pick up the call either.

Action from your end is also pathetic. You have this problem for more than 10 days and no action. The least we expect is a one liner reply.

This kind of service is not expected from a company like "Hyundai"

Please note that this is a serious issue and don't take this lightly.

Dear Sivakumar

Thanks for the reply.

The dealer name is DSC Hyundai motors, Chennai.

Also I had forgot to mention in the previous mail that the name of the banker should be "HDFC LTD" and not HDFC Bank. I had mentioned the same to Mr.Srinivasan. He said he will take care which I am not sure. Please ensure that this is done.

Subject: Non receipt of RC book

I had got i20 (TN-10 AB-2401) delivered on 01/10/2010. I was told that the RC book will be ready in 20 days and that there will be a call from the concerned person so that it could be collected.

I regret to say that we have not received the same till date.

I had started to follow up after 30 days with one Mr.Srinivasan and he had told that there was some 'data error' and the same is under process and we will receive the same within one week. When I called after a week he asked to wait for just two days and it will be ready. This process went on and on and on....

Every time the standard reply was - 'Data Error'

Finally, there was a different answer on 13/01. The RC book is ready and has to be signed. Since it was pongal holidays it will be given on 18/01 positively.

I had called on 20/01 and again the same old reply came from this person - 'data error' and he would definitely give the RC book on 24/01.

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT THE REAL PROBLEM IS.

Later I spoke with a Customer service person named Mr.Immanuel. He had assured that he would call me today(21/01) morning and let me know. I didn't get any call from him. When I called he said that he had checked with the concerned department and they had told that it will take a week's time. When I asked what was the problem he didn't have an answer.

It is now exactly 113 days since I took the delivery of the car. How long do you expect me to wait?

I have waited so long so let me wait for two more days. If I do not get the RC book on 24/01, I will have to take this to the next level
