[Resolved] Easy Cab — Cheating in service | |||
I had called Easy Cabs -Mumbai and booked their taxi for 22nd June 2011 at 8:00 a.m.from Ghansoli to New Panvel. My booking was confirmed and the booking id given to me was A[protected]. I was told that I would receive the cab details on my cell, half an hour prior to my pick-up time. I waited till 7.30 a.m. for their SMS and then called up again, they reassured that my booking is very much confirmed and I would receive the cab details soon. However I did not receive any SMS from EasyCabs in next 20 min and called them again and they said that the booking was cancelled due to unavailability of cab and sent a sms stating that due to a technical error, they are unable to service my booking. If this was the case, why was I given a false assurance? This is as good as cheating the consumer. I have taken the trouble and given my feedback on their website, but till now no one from their organisation has even bothered to respond. I will never, ever travel by EasyCabs again and will sincerely advise other consumers to refrain from using their services , thereby saving the mental agony which comes along with it. We called easycab office and told about incidence. They didnot help anything to us. We had to manage other way by our own. Request all of you not to hire easycab anytime...
