We are pained to inform you about the trauma and confusion that the delayed conduct of end-of

–semester examinations and publication of results is causing our attempts to build careers after

our post graduate education. In many cases the attempts to search for and keep jobs in organized

sectors often call for proof of qualifying examinations being conducted and cleared within a time

frame of at least six to eight months after the course completion.

We are dismayed to admit that the two year MBA programme offered by the MG University extends to

three years by the time the final semester results are published. This delay in enabling students to

be approved as qualified is brought into stark focus when other universities publish their results

and award the certificates within the stipulated time with little or no specific delays.

It limits our ability to compete for the limited job opportunities are within our reach and we are

denied the chances of even trying for jobs, as they stipulate the pass percentage or cut-offs for

specific job profiles.

Added to this MBA students are paying fees that average rupees 4 lakhs and above under the

self financing mode. In many cases the fees are paid through bank loans undertaken at the time

of entry to the college and deemed payable after a two year period, which is the time stipulated

for course completion. We are faced with the problem of repayment without actually earning

any income as the bank stipulates the same. This causes a huge amount of mental tension and

frustration as income has not yet been generated.

In addition to this many job offers on campus call for proof of qualification following which the

results are put in a pending status. This creates a negative attitude among recruiters about the

quality of the institutes and universities running the programme. It results in bad word of mouth

among recruiters.

The purpose of this letter was just to highlight the difficulties we are facing and to request your

cooperation towards finding a solution for this serious state of affairs.

For [protected] batch MBA students fourth semester examinations results was not yet published

> University is imposing CAMP VALUATION FEE from each MBA student but they are conduction camp valuation, only home valuation is there.

> University is not following examination calender for time bounded examination and result publication.

> As per Hon’ble Kerala High court’s order, with in six months after an examination result should be published. Even after 10 months, our first semester examination result was not yet published.

> Since our results are on pending we are out from many recruitment's .

> Universities of Tamil Nadu - Bharathiar University , Anna university, M.S.University, Allagappa University, Madras University , Karnataka Universities -Banglore University ,Mysore University,Maglore University, VTU are conducting one regular & one supplementary examinations per semester and publishing their MBA results with in 2-3 months.

> “In the long run, KERALA is the state that is going to lose out as students will go and study in other states. Interestingly, the university has several excuses for not conducting MBA examinations on time. Though the number of engineering students is 10 times more than those doing MBA, they finish their examinations as per schedule,”
