[Resolved]  Election Commission Of India — i have received my new voters id card , but my name is not included in the voters list

sir i have received new voters id card, but the name is not included in the voters id list.

Even I have received the voters id card but my name is not there in the voters list. i have several times filled up the necessary forms but no response. This has been going on for the last two elections. should i file a case for mental harassment and denial of my fundamental right to vote due to negligence of subsequent election commissions. I selection commission above judicial srutiny in these matters.

We should form a forum where people can register their names and jointly file a case against election commission because in India finally individuals dont count it is only numbers that speak. Lot of electoral money is spent but nothing is done to ease customer problems. To-day I went to electoral booth booth no 125 of constituency 117( Kavundampalayam constituency in Tamilnadu, murugan nagar ward 4)booth no 125). the election officials refused to check whether my name is there in list recently updated saying it will take their time and that they will have to send their hourly reports. they asked me to contact party persons who have lists. These party persons had only older lists. Where is my right to vote. can the election commission restore my fundamental right to vote.

I regret to say that my name and my husband's name is not there in the voter list and we were not allowed to poll vote today. we have given our photo with address proof one year back to include our name. But still our names were not there in the list. As a citizen of india, tamilnadu our rights to poll vote has been ignored. This happens for many in our area booth. I request you sir, to add our names according to the ration card list and do the needful henceforth.
