[Resolved]  Electrolux — Defective product

Sub. Unsatisfactory Servicing of Electrolux refrigerator service center.

Ref. Electrolux refrigerator e 285 ff dlpm ar (aub red 275 l ) Purchased from Srinagar Kashmir

Dear Sir,

We have purchased Electrolux refrigerator e285ff model / chasis noo :reg no : pnc[protected] from MS Gojwari & co, Hari Singh High Steet on 4th may 2007

because of of its worldwide name and goodwill.

1. Within 1 month of purchase that is May 07 it was first giving troublesome noise and we called for servicing. The service engineer made a wrong diagnosis

and opened timer and said this is not working ... but that was fine

Then another service engineer came and didnt again diagnose the problem AND SAID THE GAS HAS FINISHED which acually again was not the problem

Of and on there were technicians coming and making wrong diagnosis just hit and trial but no go . Finally they themselves said that there was a

manufacturing defect in the fridge (Some internal pipe problems due to which the fridge didnt work well and asked us to return the fridge back so that this

can be replaced free of charge as this was a manufacturing defect.


We sent the fridge to there workshop paying an addtional transport allowance for servicing. And in collection memo it was written “Internal gas pipe

problem ”.


Your sevice centre representative Mr. Vinod mobile number ([protected]) on asking him about status he asked us to send the fridge back to the dealer so that

this will be rplaced. No he is asking us to pay the depriciation amount of 20% for the fridge which never worked. We asked him to give us a the corporate

office number refused to give the number saying he doesnt have it . Further more that executive started shouting on us and was very rude on call .

The Warranty over the product is still active because the complaint is not yet resolved.

We are really fedup by purchasing refrigerator from a well known company like Electrolux. Your Service center is delaying unnecessary to complete the

Warranty period. The service center is giving trouble to us for several times. and now we are asked to pay the addtional amount.

Please do the needful at the earliest and replace the fridge at no extra cost.We are regular buyers of your company and have n number of products from

electrolux but because of this poor servcie and behaviour of the staff i might think of going to any other company rather than electrolux.

Electrolux Refrigerator — Defective Refrigerator

Dear/

I purchased above Electrolux Brand refrigerator 445 ltr.capacity
after two mont cooling stopped i contacted company they replaced the refrigerator again after six mont same proble arised once again i called the company again they replaced their product. Company has replaced the refrigerator for more than four time and the problem was not solved, They took the fridge and now they are not replacing my fridge and they are not replying for last two years My fridge is lying with company nor they have replaced nor they are refunding my money.

electrolux fridge — Defective products

Bought a Electrolux 280 lts Double door refrigerator in May 07. Really curse myself for choosing this product as it never worked fine.. it gowls, vibrates loud enough to scare you and makes cracking sound as if someone is throwing stones at it. Company service person came 3 times to my house & told us that it is normal operation as long as it keeps cooling properly.. heck, have a kelvinator since last 18 years and it is as quite as a flying owl & still working perfectly.. no complains till date.

Finally they took the piece of junk to their service center & returned it 5 days later saying that they fixed the compressor.. just 4 months after that, it stops cooling at all. when i called them again, i was told that the compressor is bad and needs replacement. They asked me to pay for everything as the piece of junk is more than a year old now... jesus christ... guess they were just waiting for the year to get over!!!

I will not advise anyone to buy any of eletrolux product, especially in India.

my refrigerator of electrolux kelvinator of 1 year old is stopped working all of a sudden.
any body plz can get the contact or customer care number of kelvinator fridge.

plz help me in so.

My Electrolux refrigerator is a 340LTR frost free Dubble Door Reff. Steel. I am facing a problem regarding its cooling, from the very first week i bought it. My Refrigerator does not cool anything, the vegetables inside it get's rotten. Within 9 months the complain of my Reff. has increased to 30 or more but this refrigerator of Electrolux is just a waste of money.As being a Renound company in the field of Electric home appliances the service is too poor & also unsatisfied with product From the customer end.
I[censored] have any solution's please make me know.
