[Resolved] Eureka Forbes — SERVICE MALFUNCTION | |||
Dear Sir, I have purchased Aqua guard Compact on 21.10.2010 from pune direct sales representative DC No.16966366, ORDER NO.[protected] and my Customer ID is [protected]. At the time of the sale so many false commitments that after free service only one time filter change is required for an year it costs Rs.300 around.Very less maintenance. They also said aqua guard classic is the base model where pre filter is located outside but in compact model pre filter will be inbuilt so it costs etc. because of the reasons i purchased COMPACT model.After one year i got transferred from pune to chennai.i thought to make service contract at chennai.the moment i installed my aqua guard it was not working at all so made online service request There was a call from the call center they sent the service person Mr. Augustine ([protected]) on 25/01/2012. He inspected & completely dismantled the kit & said service charge is Rs.375 one sensor has gone for that Rs. 190 total Rs.565. He also said there is no guarantee for electronics items. i also paid the amount Rs.565 as what he said.He enforced to put one Pre Filter outside or else this will get damaged quickly. I don't know for that reason only i had gone for compact model else i would have gone for the basic classic model ???? He insisted to put the service contract Rs.1250 per year in that the filter will be taken care for other items customer have to pay This happened on Wednesday (25/01/2012). it was working fine on that day water was coming as earlier.On Thursday (26/01/2012) again there was a problem & no water from the unit. I tried to call him but he has not lifted the phone. the second day i got the line Friday (27/01/2012). He said that he will come on Monday (30/01/2012).He came on that day & after inspection said that circuit board has gone it will cost around Rs 1400.I was frustrated with the total service & cheating the customer, I refused & said no don't repair it. After that he was telling put service contract i will make the items free in that. I got a call from the customer care they said that the circuit board costs Rs.1800 & filter costs Rs.700 to 800 when i asked why there is a mismatch in the rates Rs. 1400 to Rs.1800 & Rs.300 to Rs.700, they are beautifully managing with words that new circuit board is costly & new filter is costly. I don't know whom to believe. In total Genuinity is missing. My one doubt is at the time of the sensor changes he completely dismantled the kit may be the malfunction can happened because of that. What customer knows????? If the circuit board is weak why he has not intimated at that time of sensor change????? If company says suddenly it can happen why it is perfectly happening after one year somewhere something is wrong!!!!!!!! If there is a real problem which happened after one year where is the quality for this costly product. my simple calculation is initial investment is Rs.8000 + service charge is Rs.565+ filter change is Rs.700. Nearly Rs. 10000 within one year & three months. If i would have gone for BISLERI / KINLEY mineral water it would have cost-ed me very less & will have a good taste also. Hi, I have similar product Dr. Aquaguard Magna RO+UV in year 2016 and we have updated the warranty period for two year.
On 1st August 2018 the machine stops working and we have launch a complain [protected]. After that on 2nd Aug 2018 one of the technician visited for the service and found that the PCB needs to be replaced. He said he will replace the PCB, he then said the product is not available and need one or two days to get. Since then I have taken the follow-up and it has been 9 days I'm chasing service people but there is no response from there end.
When we ask customer care person to hand over the call to your senior always we get answer that our senior is busy.
We can't transfer call to them. Is this the way how a customer is treated
