Euro Pay Inc – E-MLM a SCAM? I come across several people (primarily house wives, school/college going kids and not-so-IT literate) working for Euro Pay Inc MLM Business pestering me to be their down line. After being stumbled upon by a close relative I thought of looking at it through my weird lens.
So what is Euro Pay Inc all about? In a gist its an MLM version of PPC (Pay per click) management scheme wherein you are being paid to view the e-advertisements that are sent to you via your email accounts. You will have to pay a registration fee of INR 5000 and sign up with the company. The company would provide you with an access id/password and send you advertisements in a batch of 166 for thrice per month. They promise to pay you INR 4 per advertisements which would result in you getting paid a sum of INR 2000 per month. Provided you click the advertisements (note it not necessary to view) within a span of 10 days per batch.
Just like any other MLM scheme the more the members behind you the more money you will begin to make. For example if you have one member as your down line (paying the same money that you did) you would be paid a commission of INR 500 and INR 50 for each of their batches. This way it leads you to assume that the more members behind you the more money you will earn.
So what’s wrong with this? The devil in me was sceptical about the initial money to be paid during registration. When my kins were serious about this business I thought of scrutinising the company from the information available on their website.
My Concerns:
1. Website says business was founded in 1997 but they have NO address. It says “Our Office has been temporarily shifted” image as follows:
2. A company that is established for more than a decade has the worst a website could ever be. Most of the hyper links do not actually link to anything.
3. Worse is yet to come. The website lists few companies as their clients with its name and web addresses (assumptions based on the inserted image). Most of the web links have not been renewed and almost all of the web sites does not exist. Nevertheless few web sites are actually functional. Not sure if those companies are ACTUALLY Euro Pay Inc’s clients. Cause they seem to be too big a client for a company of this kind.
4. They have franchisee ONLY operation model and have offices in Coimbatore & Erode, Tamilnadu, India. These franchisees are NOT registered with the Govt. of India and are operated by an individual (got this information through one of the most money making persons in this business). My question to him was what if the company all of a sudden shuts its operations? He says you are right there is no one to question and neither will Government support us (the investors/workers).
5. No one has ever been to Sweden to see if the company really exists. But almost all of them are paid dot on time. The company is operating in India for the past 1 year.
My wild guess is this company will one day vanish with a lump sum. No one to question, none to blame and nothing to trail their existence !
On the contrary I am open to changing my mind provided am answered by ANYONE from the company with the following information:
1. What is your registered address in Sweden (as you say so) and registration number? (I was told that they had their Sweden address displayed few weeks ago)
2. Who are all the directors of the company?
3. Is it a privately owned or public company? If its a public company give me your balance sheets.
4. If you are that big a company as you say so.. why is that your clients are not so big? Over the span of more than a decade din’t you attract even ONE big player.
5. How can you pay so much money when your clients seem to be not funding you? By this I mean.. the whole idea of your business is to get traffic to your clients websites that pay you. If the so called clients website listed in your website is NOT functional who are you doing this business for?
6. Are you rotating money obtained from people to give few people to get into this business? And you could run away with a lump sum one fine day?
I am worried and concerned about the efforts of people in a company that (up to me as of now) does not even exist. This shows our poor ability to analyse stuffs before accepting.
This ignorance, innocence or laziness to analyse things have led us to what we are right now. We are corrupted, fooled, utilised and raped of our basic needs by our so called politicians, cine stars and celebrities.
I am real worried of the youth as they are involved in the “get rich quick scheme” and lose the essence of life. The ONLY way to live a life is through HONESTY and the ONLY way to make a living is through WORKING. There is no short cut to success. Fortune through inheritance or looting might take some one to the ladder of success but CHARACTER is what determines your sustainability.
