[Resolved] Fasttrack Call Taxi — Drunk and Abusive drivers | |||
I used to be a regular customer of fasttrack call taxi in chennai - which kind of has a monopoly in chennai till recently. It changed on 1st April. On 1st April I booked a call taxi for hourly package. The driver seemed to have problem locating my address. He called us around 8 times asking for directions and he still could not figure out the address. We knew something was wrong. During the last call he abused the place we live. I told him I do not need his taxi. In 2 minutes he reached the residence (45 minutes behind scheduled time) and started fighting with us using abusive language with sexual tone. We realized he is drunk. He started manhandling my father. We called up fasttrack office and told them the situation. Their response was - 'go to the police station and complain'. They did not bother to take any responsibility for the drivers they send. When the neighbours and shop owners intervened the driver left. I spoke to the fasttrack office again and they said they will act. After a day I wrote a mail to their complaints mail id and asked them to inform me what action has been taken. No reply till date. Worst part of this episode is not he driver's behaviour - but the refusal of Fasttrack to take any responsibility and act and manage customers. End of the day, they just lost few customers from our colony (me and others who witnessed it). We started using other taxi services... Was this information helpful? | |||
