[Resolved] Federal Bank Mannar — Stupidity of Branch Manager | |
I approached the Mannar branch of Federal Bank, and asked for a vehicle loan. I possess a salary account with the same branch, and has a good track record of a reliable customer.An oldy was the manager, the guy flatly refused a loan stating that he wants to see my 3 years F16!! I was abroad, and came back only last year.What F 16? He did not even bother to explain , talk decently. The kind of managers are those in the manger.My formal complaint to the web Id and to the call centre did not meet with a reply. No wonder why people seek new gen banks!!! In my transactions with various banks, viz. Indian Bank, ICCI, Vijaya Bank, UBI, SBI and SBT etc., I have never faced such harsh treatment as the management and staff of Mannar branch provide to the customers. You go there and will feel that you are uninvited guest. You stand there in counter, no one bother to look at you. An year back, An year back, I had to call their Head Office in Trichur from the Branch itself, to ensure that I am attended. The Manager, when contacted flatly refused to help, saying, it is not my job !!! What a wonderful branch located in the heart of Parumala !!!

You are very much right.The Nationalised banks are doing a better service, than this kind of scheduled banks.They do not know the basic communication ettiqutes, they spoil the name of their own bank.I think this kind of branch mamangers should be given compulsory retirement
Hi I am not particularly happy with the way in which our scheduled banks behave, in general.No wonder why they are disappearing one by one.You take the examples of Nedungady Bank, Lord Krishna Bank, Global trust Bank, and next in line is Dhanalakshmi and Catholic Syrian. The Federal bank is different from all, but the mangers of this sort will harm the global interests of bank.They have to provide men with good academic background and communication skills.It is a pity that they lost a customer through sheer stupidity!!!
If you can afford a quraterly minimum balance of 25000/-, you have to go for the new gen banks, Federal Bank is not a trustworthy bank.Their charges are exorbitant, and you may call it a local blade.
yes I agree.In fact, they behave in an totally non professional way.It is in a very strategic place where the Parumala church and many brass manufacturing units are there.I am sure that a new generation bank like ICICI or HDFC if come to Mannar, the Fed bank can put its shutters down.
