A person by the name Mahindra Singh (using Mahanagar Gas employee card) said he had come for meter reading.
He told me there is gas leakage and asked me to get a match box / candle. As soon as I left the kitchen he cut the gas rubber tube with a knife. Then he actually demonstrated it and asked us to get it replaced.
Most conviniently he was also carrying such rubber tubes with him. I think he was a hoax and is using the companies name to sell rubber tubes at a premium - Rs. 250.
Since gas leakage is of great concern, he must be easily duping many houses daily. Was this information helpful? |
